From the beginning they have said that Dawn will be a native figure for Poser and DS, it is NOT a genesis morph nor does it have anything to do with the genesis figure platform. They plan on offering a Dawn figure that is Rigged and weight mapped for Poser use and one that will be weightmapped and rigged for DS4+.

Hi all, I am one of the two that mentioned Dawn in the Star Trek forum and had my post deleted. I have to say that I am impressed with the way that Poser and DS users have gotten along in this thread. I look forward to getting more info on Dawn here and can't wait to see more images of her. I have a set of Star Trek bodysuit textures for V4 but I think once Dawn hits I will have to work on making them fit her bodysuit as well. I can't wait to have another option to use in my runtime!

OK I have been watching this from the beginning and I am seriously impressed with the way Dawn looks and the fact that there is no Poser/DS strife. I do some minor texturing in Poser and once she comes out would be willing to do some free Sci-Fi textures for the body suit.

I will wait to see if the colors and look improves but at least the site still works the same. I look forward to seeing what it looks like before making a final judgement.

Some of the creators that I have talked to over at DAZ at most of them are for the foreseeable future are going to continue to produce items for both Genesis and the Gen4 figures. So that pretty much tells me that the number of items coming out for Gen4 figures will slow down as I am sure that some will probably start producing items more for Genesis than Gen4 especially since V5/M5 will be based on the Genesis character. I guess we are going to have to find a way as poser users to create our own figure that is either equal to or better than Genesis or find a way to make Genesis work in Poser to the same extent it works in DS4A and DS4Pro
