Hi Maria, I just visited your new-born webpage....and it's just wonderful and delightful. Great and impressive images and the lay-out is just great. Of course I bookmarked it. Have a great and creative time in using UF and Apo. All the best, Jos Boogen.

Did you do the download from the formula in the right way? Open UF>>Options>>Update Public Formulas>>Full formula collection (1st time). After that you can do it weekly (weekly update) or Monthly (monthly update). But you can also take a look what formulae are added as real new formulas or updated to the dBase. Open the webpage and click on: view list of changes. All the best. JosThread: UF database update? | Forum: Fractals

Quote: "I've only done it twice and both times old images of mine went bad." Do you mean that the new formula was not backwards compatible? In that case leave a comment to the UF list and/or report it to the formula writer. Tell us the formula name and the formula collection and if it is possible send a sample UPR. There are many formulae public available which are not a part of the public UF dBase. Read the article I wrote about that. Open the webpage; click on Articles in the Menu; Title: UF General Background Info. There you will find a lot of important information. You can make a copy of it and paste it in your word/text editor. All the best. Jos.Thread: UF database update? | Forum: Fractals

Maybe the "bring it in utillity" from Mark Hamond is the solution. Mark's quote:"I've created a small utility that helps bring an image file into UltraFractal, so that it can be used as part of fractal artwork. It can be downloaded, plus you can see some of the images I created with it here" The "bring it in utillity" is special created for Ultra Fractal users. Hoping this is helping you.Thread: Introduction | Forum: Fractals

Hi Kathy and a warm welcome to the Renderosity community. I just visited your gallery and I'm really impressed about your images. I'm using Ultra Fractal {UF} (since summer 2002) and I am very busy into the UF-mailing list; just helping newbies and all the other people who want a little help in using UF. Sometimes I try to create a nice image with the help from Apophysis. If you have some time, visit my gallery here on Renderosity. Just click on the attached URL. All the best and have a nice and creative time in using all that software.Jos Boogen.

Hi Donna, It's very difficult to solve your problem without an UPR. I don't know if you are an UF mailinglist member. My advice: send the UPR to the UF mailinglist and there are more as one list members which can help you. Hi Tim, I use 99,8% Ultra Fractal 3.05 and 0,2% Apophysis 2.02. And I purchased Xenodream too, but in this moment I don't have the time to explore it. There are so many possibilities in using UF and Apo.....our life on earth is too short to explore them all. The only limit in using them is our creativity! All the best, Jos Boogen.
Thread: Having trouble with the copy/paste function in UF ver 3.0.2... | Forum: Fractals
Hi Tim, Why do you use UF 3.02? Why not using UF 3.05. It's free to download that version. BTW about your question. Why not send a message to the UF list? Many of the UF list members can give you a correct and gratified answer. I know from the past you are an UF list member too! All the best, Jos Boogen.
