Thanks so much for the info, I got a message from him saying the same thing. I'll have to post a correction on the image.
Oh well. People can sign anyway, no matter when it was. =)
Thanks again, many hugs to you!

Oh yes, I bought a product specifically to use for this project, so the cost of that - which isn't much at all - will be included.
And I'm EXTREMELY modest...which is why I posted here, honestly. My mother wanted me to check with people in my own line of work to make sure I wasn't being TOO modest and cutting myself short. blush I don't know...I think $50 would be alright.
It just sort of makes me nervous, because he made a comment about how he wondered "if doing so much work would be worth what I'd be getting for it." And I just sort of looked at him funny. Albeit, you know, this is someone I'm sort of friends with, but that doesn't mean I'm going to charge too much less than I should because of it.

Thanks so much, Acadia, for that forum!! It helped me learn a lot about doing illustration, even beyond this project.
I've come to the price of about what I thought, $50 per piece. At least, that's what I'm thinking so far. Is that to high/low in anybody's opinion? Like I said, you can go and see the pieces in my gallery, they're the most recent two.
Thanks again, Acadia.

I don't know if I'm looking in the right place...couldn't find anything specific, really. I'm going more on suggestion rather than anything else.
Well, to give a good idea, both pieces are going to be either 8x10 or 16x20, or two prints of both, depending on what the client wants...not to mention about 15 hours of work in between the two, as I said before.
Any suggestions for a loose price? I have no idea what to tell him when he comes to give me the frames for them next week. o.o;

I personally would suggest getting the free Victoria 3 model from DAZ3d.com. I'm not quite sure about morphs or things of that nature, but she works a lot better than the standard Poser figures for me.
Of course, this is just personal taste. I'm sure there are other tutorials and things like that to help you along with the defaults. But no, I understand, they are a major pain in the patoot. Which is why I don't use them, LOL!

Thanks so much for the help, guys. I know the brushes, etc won't work if they're CS3 based and tried in PS6 - tried that once, never again lmao. I just didn't know if it was the other way around, as well. I'll keep 6 installed just to make sure, God forbid it doesn't work after all.

Thanks again for the help, if anyone has more feedback, feel free to post.

And if it's a random draw, helping someone find at least ONE shouldn't be considered cheating because it's random, so it doesn't mean I'll win.

Quote - Well to be exact, I just found 1 and I am not gonna drive myself crazy to get all the items.
I have more things to do with my precious time.
Goodluck for everyone finding all the things.
I don't know whether to say thanks for the post, or be offended at the insinuation that time - to everyone else on here - isn't precious. We all have other things to be doing, but for a lot of us, a gift certificate would help a great deal.
I know I can't just go and spend $25 dollars without thinking about it, or even $5. So the prize would help. A lot. More than a lot, likely.
So thanks for posting anyway.

Quote - Sounds like you're way ahead of me. I'm still looking for 5 of them.
You have until Friday at noon, so just keep digging. You will find them :)
Jeez, oh man, I hope so XD

Thread: A Plea To The Vendors | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Thanks to you all for replying. I just thought it was a little iffy, and it's been really getting on my nerves. I've seen several artists here posting images, trying to make things CLOSE to a product they saw because it was something that was only for V4.
And hey, here's a suggestion - why not make a bonus download, that includes conversions for V3? You'd be able to charge more.
Does anyone see common sense in that? You know...GIVE more...to GET more?
Just me. shrug
Anyway, thanks. I'm glad people agree with me. Maybe that'll get some ideas in peoples' heads.

You might be a Gothic Literature writer if you look at a painting and say, "Poe could have described it better."

The winning entries are wonderful, and thank you again - as I've said already many times, lol - to Rosity for such a fabulous contest. There were a lot of gorgeous pieces and I know the choice must have been hard.
Thanks again, and congrats, everyone :)
