Thanks for the information, Jon. To make certain what I was doing was correct, I went through the following steps: 1. I created a new file 2. Switched the default creepy male figure to the P4 nude female 3. Added the left black boot that shipped with 4 4. Selected the boot as a whole, so 'Body' was reflected in the thingy that tells you what you have selected (don't know the name) 5. Parented it to the left shin of the female figure. It immediately exploded in a bit less extreme fashion than the christmas boots. Am I misunderstanding parenting? I thought that to use these, meaning to be able to pose the figure with the boots on, and have them move with her legs, I was to put the boot right where I wanted it, and then parent it to the body part that was right under it. Is this not the correct series of steps? Thanks for any advice... - taerin

Hmm - a .cr2 and .pz3 are essentially the same format? Does adding it to the library automatically create a .cr2? The reason I ask is that I'd like to use Morph Manager to add some morphs from lots of downloaded files to one other. I want to load one particular figure down with all the morphs I can get my hands on, giving me a better place to start from. Thanks, - taerin

Well, I hit the Props Guild and found some great boots, but none that have morphs to lower or eliminate the heel. I also downloaded 'P4 Fem Thigh Boot Morphs' and 'P4 Fem Boot Morphs 1' from Morph World, but I didn't see the type of morph I'm looking for in either set. What I'm wanting is a boot whose heel is flat on the ground, like a man's cowboy boot, but not in a western style. None of the boots I downloaded had a morph like that. Perhaps I missed the one you're referring to? Thanks for your help...

One other suggestion - based on the location of her shadow, the sun should be almost directly overhead. The current lighting is from the sides. You might consider putting one over her head to make the lighting on her body and the lighting in her environment match. - taerin
