I am trying to Download Additional Content Files (License required), but each time I enter my serial number I get

Invalid license entry!

I hope this is just a glitch and not an omen of upgrading issues to come.

The brand new Poser model is free for a limited time only for promotional purposes. Get it while it's still free!! All you have to do is buy something else for $3.50 from the store. Alternatively you could ask a friend to gift this item to you when they check out... unless you have 0 friends...

Not all of us have a discretionary budget when it comes to these things and what may be $3.50 to US types is not as cheap as it seems when you start taking into account exchange rates....

Would it not be easier just to place the figure into "Free Stuff"? Or is that too simplistic for the world of big business 3D graphics assets?

The conversion of poses is really simple, navigate in Studio to the poses you want to convert and convert them via "Create Poser Companion Files", the only thing you have to do is to set use this Library and extension to pz2 and add the subfolder of your choice to DSON Conversions.

Firstly - thanks to willdial and lululee - great piece of work Simple question really - materials and poses? Do poses have to be converted to Triax and materials applied before conversion or are both a manual task within Poser?

Bit off topic - but is anyone getting better download speeds than 19.4 KB/s?

Took me over 4 hours yesterday to download the program file, about 10 attempts to get the patch - I'm afraid to go for the 1 gig of new content.....

Glad to see that common sense has prevailed down under with the Australian censor saying that the images in question were not pornographic and in fact some of them had been rated PG.

NSW Police will no longer continue to prosecute the case and the photos will be returned to the Gallery.

I agree,  Acadia,  after seeing the image myself and finding nothing sexual about it - my fear is that now any form of nudity will be viewed as "sexual" and we will begin the a downward spiral into some strange morality as has been seen in other parts of the world.....

No issues with 32 bit applications apart from FaceShop.

Poser 6 &  7, D|S, Carrara, Photoshop, Corel, Bryce, MojoWorld all chug along nicely - I'd say they perform better than on my old 32 bit system.

Office and Quicken are both not an issue - in fact  I am running Quicken Cashbook 8 - so that is getting on a bit but still runs nicely.

Had a couple of problems finding a driver for my laser printer - but have noticed that later models of hardware now mostly seem to have 64 bit drivers included.

You may find you may have to run some applications as Administrator under Vista or deactivate some of the protection features - but I am sure this will improve as new releases of applications are compiled with Vista in mind.

I will echo the sentiments on ram - if possible add up to the maximum your board will take - I currently have 4 gig and have the feeling that 8 gig would be a nice figure to work with.
