Are your firewall/anti-virus settings set too aggressively? You may want to disable your firewall and/or virus scan for a moment to see if it works with them disabled.

As you can see, I stated that I didn't figure you for the anti-Semitic type until your "all of this is Israel's fault" post. My point was that your statement was starting to sound alot like Mein Kempf in perspective. You were the one that said that you HATE me and any Americans like me that support our nation and our troops in a previous thread. Should I take that as a personal attack as well? That was far more personal. If you misunderstood my response then I do apologize.

Are you accepting cookies and is your system date/time correct?

spook - this is the 2nd time that you've mentioned that the navigation is caching correctly for you. Just so you know, we have made NO modifications since the day it was changed. Nor can we reproduce the issues that any of you are reporting. We've tested in Netscape 4.7x, Netscape 6.x, Netscape 7.x, IE 5.x, IE 6.x, Opera 6.x, Firefox 0.9, Safari, and Mozilla 1.7. The only time we experience caching issues is when we set the browser to download a new version upon every visit to the page. Otherwise, the response times have been quite reasonable to download the images. Anywhere from under 1 second to 18 seconds depending upon whether your connecting at 3mbps or 14.4k respectively to download the navigation. After the initial download, we have had no problems with the navigation caching in each of the browsers tested.

From there you can click the "On Sale" tab.

Okay - I follow you now. Click the word "Poser" to the left of the "All" button. Then click the "All" button beside "Victoria".

Use the "Sale Items" link in the sidebar under the marketplace icon.

We discussed this issue in our admin meeting this morning, taking into consideration all of the testing that has been done with numerous browsers on different operating systems and platforms as well as looking at server logs to see if the new navigation has any significant impact on bandwidth We have consistently found that the navigation works as expected and that bandwidth is not a problem, nor has it significantly increased due to the images most commonly being cached rather than downloaded with each page visit. The purpose of the navigation change was necessary for two reasons. 1.) Being that this is an art site, there are expectations placed upon us to have the site utilize a more graphical interface rather than remaining plain and simple. 2.) We are trying to cater to the broadest group of people possible - which means not excluding the large groups of members that use older browser versions. With all of these issues taken into consideration, we have decided to continue with the navigation as it is for the time being.
