@DarkElegance: EXACTLY! Somebody FINALLY UNDERSTANDS! R'rrrrib-bit! @xoconostle: The point is the increasing censorship, of which I'm totally opposed. Not smoking. I couldn't care less what people do with their lungs. @Penguinisto: Do like I do...roll over (off) and go to sleep ;)
Thread: So now Renderosity is promoting lung cancer? | Forum: Community Center
WOW! I haven't seen this much heated debate since Renderosity changed the look and feel of the site. Man, you would have thought people were going to pull a Jonestown or something! @xoconostle: What was ill-considered, and just what WAS it that I was implying? Was it about smoking? Did you read my original post? And if you think I'm the PC Police, you're sorely mistaken. After you get done hugging yourself, figure it out.

@ DarkElegance: for some odd reason, foot odor is still allowed, and highly encouraged :) @kawecki: I don't really care.

It wasn't about smoking. Not at all. But it was everything about Renderosity. Oh, and kawecki, I invite you to visit the Bryce forum at 3D Commune. There's a sad fellow in his 40s there who is chronicling his recently diagnosed lung cancer.

They had their chance, they saw the threats, they had good reason, and then they made their sorry-ass choice. And that sorry-ass choice was... "We simply don't give a shit. Ban him, hopefully he'll shut up." Why mince words? I was going to ask that idiot who was sitting on the couch for a while on page one of this site and who owns Bondware about this. But why bother? Hell, he doesn't care either. Everything's LaLa Land around here when it comes to management. I think they're more worried about money than they are about legitimate artists here.
Thread: Is there any way to ban someone from your gallery? | Forum: Bryce
ICM wrote: "It's one guy!!(x5)" I'll agree with that number, and I'm figuring possibly as high as six or seven. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out his many aliases, just go look at the galleries of his "friends" and you'll see what I'm talking about; same software, same artistic and creative ability, same themes. I remember when he first started posting in the Terragen gallery, and at the same time another noob or two to Terragen started posting with him. It was obvious they were one and the same. All so HE could post six or nine images a day, then immediately compliment himself with his other aliases, and of course rating them as excellent in the process. What I've read within this thread absolutely disgusts me. This BlackUnicorn fellow needs to have his account and his gallery deleted immediately - as in TODAY. If Renderosity gives a DAMN about this Bryce community - the ENTIRE RENDEROSITY COMMUNITY for that matter - they will take the needed steps necessary to correct this situation to protect the honest, DECENT, and contributing members here. Yes, I know they do. If this were my domain, I know what I'd do, and I'd do it SWIFTLY. Removing his comments isn't enough; it doesnt even BEGIN to remedy the situation. His account needs to be removed immediately, and an investigation should be done to determine his other aliases and those accounts should be eliminated as well. His ISP should be contacted, and the transcripts of his threats sent to both them AND local law enforcement in his community. Ornlu, it goes without saying your work and contributions to this community are exemplary. You should have no doubt whatsoever about the level admiration you receive here. I will also make a similar statement to other legitimate Bryce artists here; you give me, a new Brycer, having just got the software last week and awaiting my recommended RWB4 book, the inspiration to one day hopefully be a great Bryce artist. Or at least an acceptable one :) But while achieving that self-imposed goal, I want to feel safe here from the likes of BlackUnicorn; I want to feel assured that Renderosity will not only protect ME from this type of INSANITY, but will protect other members here as well. If I cant receive that simple request, then sadly, I wont be a contributing artist here, and that would certainly create a most grim situation for me personally, to say the least. I used to post a lot to the Terragen gallery, but removed it for personal reasons. But I want to let yesterday move further into the past, and move ahead to tomorrow within this gallery to learn from the creative minds herein. Ive missed posting to Renderosity, and want to change that. I want to learn all I can about Bryce from the great people here in this forum, and within the gallery. It all depends on Renderosity management, and how they respond to the insults against Ornlu, and to the entire web site itself. Yes, there are always potholes in the road, I'm willing to risk a damaged rim or two, but what happened to Ornlu is simply not acceptable. AgentSmith, I know youre sickened by this as well, and I would hope that you direct the powers that be to this very thread. I would hope that they will feel compelled to correct this situation, with the ONLY possible solution, and to act swiftly upon it. BTW: the mailman just delivered my book! Happy, and SAFE, "Bryce-ing" to all :)

Oops...my mistake. It was books by a guy named Shamms or whatever. Yes, I see that on Amazon people have rated her book highly. Placed the order five minutes ago :) Thanks for your help!

Was there visible damage on the outside of the carton? If so, I would have not signed for it, refused delivery of it, and made the carrier send it back. The carrier would then have had to pay the damages to the manufacturer. On the other hand, if there was NO visible damages on the outside of the carton, this means the dent happened during packing or production and should NOT have been sent to you. If they knew this damage existed and sent it to you anyway, would you really WANT a computer from this company? I sure as hell wouldn't. I'd tell them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine and find myself a different PC manufacturer.

DarkElegance wrote: "...trust me I am hot under the collar but not because of the TOS but because of people like you that try and force people out." Gee, do I have that power? I didn't realize it. I'll hug myself in admiration. Now, where did I try to "force people out"? Are you breathing yet?
Thread: TOS Update | Forum: Community Center
Did I say the pic was bad? No. Did I say I found it pornographic? No. What I did ask was, did it violate the TOS, based ON the TOS. Actually, I rather enjoyed it, and I have nothing against nudity, as I'm a regular subcriber to both Penthouse and Playboy, both the pulp and on-line versions, and I do love to watch woman "get close". The only thing I didn't like about the pic was the fact that the models had too many clothes on and felt the female doing the feeling was lacking nice jewelry. Now, if you'd stop your ranting, raving and screaming for perhaps ten seconds, you'd realize I've yet to attack nudity on this web site. All I've suggested was, if you don't like the TOS, if you're that pissed off, go find another place to host.
