I set my render dimensions to 90x90, render the scene, and export it as a .png with the same name as the .crz into the directory that has the .crz

Thread: how do i use poser 6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Also Poser 6 comes with a tutorial manual built right into the program. At the top click Help and from the drop down menu chose Poser Tutorial Manual. Read it and you will learn how to do 93.7% of everything that can be done with Poser.

What if you give the character a real name instead of a number like figure 301, say like Bill or Nancy?
Thread: This is freakin' me out. P6 or some other oddity? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That girl looks rather impish. I think she is intentionally trying to freak you out, and she seems to be having a lot of fun doing it too.

"Also, I know there is a way to make the magnet into a morph dial, but when I tried it, rotating the new dial to 1.0 makes the bodypart blow up like a balloon." Did you delete the magnet before you turned the dial? If you didn't, when you set the dial to 1.0, you also had the magnet giving the effect of 1.0. So you in effect had the dial set to 2.0, which is probably why your part blew up.
Thread: Gamma check on my images, please | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"But... I ran the included Optimization Wizard for calibrating my display, and the Gamma wizard (where you drag boxes to adjust RGB) made my previous images very dark, too contrasty and saturated. I reset it back to the defaults, which makes it look identical to the settings I used with my previous driver." Yeah, I have an nVidia board too and I played around with the Gamma Wizard too one day. Got the same thing you got. Went back to the default too. Not sure what the Gamma Wizard is supposed to do, but it ends up just making a mess of things. As far as your gallery images, they look great using my nVidia default setting, ie not using the Gamma Wizard.
Thread: I saw this and thought of Renderosity | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OTOH, on the History Channel they were talking about armor, and a properly fitted suit of armor was almost like a second skin. They had a guy in a full suit of armor and he was doing cartwheels and handstands in it to show just how agile a man could be in a suit of armor, that the idea of armor being bulky and cumbersome to the wearer was a bit of a myth.
Thread: Using Hat and hair ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Another idea would be to create a trans map and use it to make the top part of the hair invisible. And another idea is to use the grouping tool and create a separate material zone for the top of the hair. Then make this material zone transparent. Then you don't have to worry about trying to fit the hat to the hair or the hair to the hat.
Thread: What causes this? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
No, zulu, if it were smooth polygons then things would look like balloons. Smooth polygons doesn't cause spots. Xantor is correct.

Try setting the body rotations and translations to zero and use the hip rotations and translations to position your character.
Thread: Reflective floor in P6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
AO depends on raytracing to work. Reflections depend on raytracing to work. They are probably interfering with each other and AO is over riding reflections.

Thread: cotton candy?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'll bet you it can be made in the hair room if you have Poser 5 ot 6. Just take the Hi-Res ball, stretch it in the Y-axis, put hair on it, and color the hair pink. Then just use a cone prop from primitives and stretch it out for the handle.
Thread: any more about a poser 6 sr2? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wasn't aware there was any SR2 in works to be more about. Did I miss something? My Poser 6 seems to run just fine with SR1, other than a few refraction problems that I have already told E-Frontier about.
