If your renders are taking hours upon hours to do, maybe you should read this and see if you need to change your render settings: http://www.e-frontier.com/article/articleview/1406/1/323/ Like I said, if I can't get a good quality render in a half hour, I figure I am doing something wrong and I try something else.
Thread: warped sides of props in P6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Is it me or is it a bug in Poser or the props? It isn't a bug in Poser or the props. It is doing exactly what you tell it to do if you have smooth polyons checked on in your render settings.
Thread: What year was Poser4 released? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Dr. Geep did a great timeline a month or two back. All the way from the original Poser to Poser 6. Possibly you could find it doing a forum search.
Thread: 10 hours rendering and still not done?!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
All I have to say is you people have a lot more patience than me. If a scene takes me a half hour to render, I quit and try some other settings to shorten the time. I might give it an hour if there is a lot of raytracing going on, but no way would I ever render a 10 hour scene.
Thread: Suggestions/Morphs for V3 Breasts? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Try the Natural, Droop, & Gravity Crease to make it look like they are affected by the earth's gravity. Also using negative values of BreasT Raise. I also like to use Sternam Narrow to bring the breast closer together. Failing that just start playing around with the magnets. You only have to do one side and then use symetry to copy it to the other side.

Sound like you accidentally moved your document window off
screen. Try reducing its size using Window:Document Window
Size to a small value using, say like 90 x 90 and see if it
shows up. If so try moving to the center and then gradually
increasing its size.
Failing in that go to Edit:General Preferences and
in Docement Preferences and Interface Preferences
push the radio buttons for Launch to factory state.
Click OK, exit Poser and restart.

Wouldn't hurt to ask there too. I have Paint Shop Pro so I have no clue as to how Photoshop works.
Thread: interchangeable texture maps between mil characters ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What's great about the mil figures sharing textures is when you use second skin clothing. Then Mike 3.0, Vickie 3.0, the Freak, Stephanie Petite, Luke, Laura, Maddie, and Matt? can all wear the same pair of jeans.

I like the way the third picture looks. I don't see any problem with the circled area on it. Nor do I see any problem with the circled area on the other two pictures. Again the 2nd picture is so dark as to completely obscure almost all of the detail. I can make out the eyes and the nose and that is about it.
Thread: Poser Pro Pack availability? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just out of curiousity, why not just buy Poser 6? It will do everything Pro Pack does and a lot more.
Thread: Help Needed - P6 Lighting? OcclusionMaster? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Interesting. Because on my computer the bottom picture looks better. The top one is so dark I can barely see any detail in it. Maybe you have the brightness setting on your monitor set too high? Look in the tutorials for a monitor calibration tutorial.
Thread: Poser Artist or Poser 6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Might as well jump in and go with Poser 6. You'll want to do more eventually once you outgrow Poser 4 and then you will just have to relearn how to do it in Poser 6 anyway. Plus you will have wasted the moeny you spent on Poser 4. Just start slow and play around with it and read a lot of tutorials.
Thread: Using dynamics to make body morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Can I 'deflate' a figure in frame 1 and have her 'inflate' to fit snugly inside a tight-fitting prop (like a clear perspex corset - Think Helmut Newton)? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes, you can. In fact that is one of the tricks people use to fit figures into tight clothes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Would I have to reverse the normals on my prop mesh before inflating her? (She would be approaching the mesh from the back face - does that make a difference? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It shouldn't matter. If you have black areas showing in your render afterward, try clicking on normals forward in the material room and then it should render okay. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Would I do it with just her affected body parts and use the result to make morph targets for her, or would I do it with her whole body? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I not sure you even need to do a morph target. Just have the shrunken body in the first frame and the final shape in the last frame and everything just line up right.

I might add that that wind force works great. I did an animation with the wind blowing the dress and hair around and it looked very realistic. Just make sure the range and intensity of the wind are high enough to affect the dress and hair. For gusts you can vary the intensity and that works very well too.
