Newtek showed Lightwave 7 and gave out demo cds. It looked pretty impressive. I haven't run the demo yet. Discrete showed combustion 2 which was interesting because they had one of the guys who worked on Final Fantasy talk about the compositing they did for the film. If I had time, I'd go back. I didn't come close to seeing all the demos I wanted to see. If you're anywhere near LA you got to go.Thread: Siggraph 2001 - any cool announcements??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

If there is no method it can't be done. Hopefully the next release will give us full control of all Poser functions through scripting. I wanted to copy and paste keyframes, but there aren't any methods for that either.Thread: Poser animation at IFilm | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

In the archives authors store .bum files as jpg files. You have to manually select the bump maps in the materials section. Poser is looking for bumpmap.bum but it is stored as bumpmap.jpg. Also tell me which archive it is and I'll look into it more. Thanks.Thread: How do i increase Poser's Memory (RAM) usage in Windows? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Many fo the downloads don't come with all the necessary objects, but usually they will tell you in the readme file where you can get them, or at least they will have contact info so you can write them and ask. As far as memory goes: check your memory usuage with the task manager. If it has to dip into virtual memory while running Poser, buy more memory. You can get an extra 256 mb for about $50.Thread: Poser Python Wish List | Forum: Poser Python Scripting

paulgregory, For some reason there is a script to do this with flash, but not avi. Why they did that I have no idea. Very frustrating. The MoveMaker class only seems to be able to render flash so we can't write our own script. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
