There are companies that can create 3d objects using laser that cure a liquid plastic from 3d data files. Basically it cures a section. move it up slightly, cures another section, moves it up, and so on. But it costs thousands of dollars to do it and I don't know if any can read Poser files. It's more for industrial applications than hobbyists. Be sort of neat to have a little Vicky on the desk though, wouldn't it.

Thread: Conforming Clothing with Morphed Figure | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The cloth room in Poser 6 is so stable and reliable now that just about all the clothing I use is dynamic. For a lot of the conforming clothing I have I now just import the object file and take it to the cloth room. Once and a while I do get a weird geometry, but 90% of the time the cloth room works like a champ. Plus dynamic clothing is a lot easier to animate.

What is this fixation people in the Poser community have on grotesquely enormous breasts? I think they look hideous myself, and I'm a guy who likes women. I'll see a thumbnail in a gallery of a woman with a pretty face, click on it, and it is obviuos the person who created the render went to a lot of care to set up the lighting, props, costumes, textures, and scene. But the whole thing is ruined by having breasts on the character the size of Idaho. How about making the character look like something you won't see in a sleezy strip club?
Thread: versions of vue? | Forum: Vue
If you got to the e-on website they have a side by side comparison chart that will show what the various versions do. You can even compare Vue 4 d'Espirit to Vue 5 Infinite to see how many more features V5I has. http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Products/vueproductline/index.php
Thread: Most popular characters? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think you people are getting too caught up with the model.
I'm not interested in who makes the model. What I am interested
in is what I can do with the model. And for my purposes
Victoria 3.0 has the morphs I require to make characters
look the way I want them to look. I have tried other
models, but none of them seem to have the versitility
of V3. Plus I already have V3 and she can be made to
do what I want with her, so I don't really have a lot
of incentive to spend money on something else that may
end up not doing what I want it to anyway.
And wasn't the original question "Most popular character"?
So why all the long rants about why you don't happen
to like a particular character? That wasn't the question.

I usually use Vicky 3.0, sometime Stephanie Petite or Laura if I want to give her a friend, or Michael 3.0 for a boyfriend. But a good 70 to 80 percent is just a morphed version of Vickie 3.0 that i really like. Actually, in a way, I don't really even use Vicky herself, just the character I created out of her.

That's what I use. I have the preview panel filling the left screen and all the tools on the right screen. < Generally the people who are most critical of P6 are the ones who haven't bought it yet.> LOL, obm, that sounds like a lot of movie critics both on the left and the right in regards to movies they haven't even seen.

Thread: Renda vs V3 -- brawling bimbos or secretly sisters ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I thought that sort of thing was illegal. Isn't Renderosity normally quite indignent about copyright violations and warez software. I'm surprised DAZ hasn't spoken up against it. Didn't DAZ get some other model pulled from some little company because someone had copied a foot from Victoria? Is Renderosity that powerful that even DAZ doesn't want to go up against them?
Thread: Can Victoria be a Barbie Doll ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think Aiko would work better, she is more leggy and skinnier, like Barbie. Victoria has kind of a big butt.
Thread: What 3D software did you use before Vue 5 Infinite? | Forum: Vue
I tried Bryce 5.0 but the interface drove me nuts. After I played around with it for a month or two I fianlly just gave up on it. Vue has a much easier to use interface.
