Hiya. Terragen is what is called a "photorealistic scenery program". You can read more about it and download it from the attached link. You can also visit the Terragen forum here in Renderosity, - and check out the Terragen gallery here for more samples of what Terragen can do. lmao I've seen that as a cartoon! Now THIS is even better... Hmm... No! I'm not going there! :) That poor dork! But I HAVE wondered over here in the US; WHY is it that there are gas-stations and restaurants that have to advertice, on BIG billboards no less, "We have clean restrooms"... Hmm...
Thread: Hit by a virus; I think you guys are safe | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
After I finally got my windows restored, - so that I could start up again; i'm faced with a lot of work! And not of the fun kind! I got outlook back up by updating IE to 6.0 (I have refused to do so, because I never trust the dot.cero versions; and I've been lucky so far) BUT this "weird" virus apparently turned some of my programs to "unredable" for windows (running 2000), and they reported that they weren't window 32-bit programs (sorry webvogel; my ftp program was one of them; I'll upload your flowers when the programs are set straight!) Now; all the programs that DID work; Poser, Adobe Photoshop, Corel etc. report that they're not windows 32 bit programs. :( Have anyone had this problem?? And is there an "easy" way to solve it?? My brain is fried too. And It went on strike around 9 this evening, telling me it refuses to think anymore. lol ANY help is appreciated!! Britt

That, of course, depends on how sadistic you are. lol I'd say, that any winner of a challenge in the Poser arena, has already shown him/herself to be a creative person; so why not let that be the price? ;) Britt

LIttle Dragon; I haven't even thought of using the extra hands! That's a great idea. Thanks. Hmm.. Not even sure where to start looking for close-ups of hands, to make a detailed skin texture. thgeisel. Hmm.. now that's an idea. to scan leaves. This place is full of people with great ideas! :) Sharen; thank you. I can't take credit for her suit, no matter how much I want. lol That's beepbop's :) Britt

Thread: Can and how can I conform a .3ds format object onto a p4 male? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
yes, you have to do a couple of things to them. You have to make groups, and then run it thought the utility PHI to set up the rotation order of the different groups. (both these processes can be done in Poser, but I prefer to group the objects in UV mapper, and run it through PHI to make a Hier file) Nerd's site: http://www.nerd3d.com/ SAMs3d has a good tutorial how to make a chest posable; do a search in the tutorial section here. Good luck, Britt

Not sure what you're actually asking here. :) Since you got the boots here; are they in .obj format? Or are they still in 3ds format? Nerd has a good tutorial on his site how to conform boots. :) Britt

Thomas, - your's will most likely look much better :) Carolly; I know that most of the flowers aren't "true models". They are a compromise between my 3D skills, - i.e what seems to be the best way of modelling them, - and how they really look. Hopefully they look "real enough" for most peoples needs. Daffodolls. lol Thank you guys for your comments! Britt

I've been wrestling with the daffodile model (and the iris model) today. Not sure when I will have it done, - but I'll post here when it is. :) Britt
