and computer gremlins have been haunting me yesterday and today. Ack.. First I got the dreaded "you're outta memory" while dressing the girl; and of course I hadn't saved. So all my posing, adjusting etc. lost. Then after doing the "delete rsr files" trick and saving along the way. Power outage! Grrrr... Of course I had saved the FILE I was working on, but not the girls clothes; so I had to re-do the "rsr-trick". Finally got stuff into Bryce, and the power zapped again!! Arghh... by this time I decided that I better get this thingy all done. Don't bother with WIPs- *lol* Just get it done and posted within the challenge deadline. Anyhow; wanted to wish you all a happy summer. Maybe the image that coulda been a wip, but is now a submission to the challenge can refreshen y'alls memories.. running barefoot in the grass, finding neat stuff to show your loved ones.

Time to invest in one of those UPS thingies.

This is a pretty cool image Brittmccary..... but it has a black sky. Maybe you meant for it to be black though. Nice picture and nice posing, and cool idea. It certainly does bring back memories of childhood.

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

A whiner is about as useful as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest.

Ouch Britt, that's gotta hurt! Better recheck your UPS manual and find out what's happening with it. Only other thing I can say is if you continueously get power outages, maybe you should invest in a small home Generator. BTW, nice render but as already's been mentioned, what's happening with the sky? Good luck!

Ouch! So you weren't entirely unprepared. I agree with Quest, your power backup shouldn't let the computer get fritzed when the main power comes back on. A "good" UPS unit usually waits a while after main power comes back on before switching off the battery. That way those nasty jolts don't hit anything plugged into it.

I guess I'll have to dig out our users manual! That was so not fun! l but anyhow; It's back online now. Also; hubby managed to dig me out from behind that HW firewall that we're now safely behind. lol It was some setting, that wasn't described anywhere.. So MuddyGrub, thanks for giving some advices.. we finally got it. And for the sky. It IS dark, - but I have used a 2D plane to make the "dark forest" behind the yard. :) So it was intentional.

I love it, I think the black sky gives it a dreamish quality, like a childhood memory.
