Oh, Oh....I asked a similar question...soo...here is what I found out in very simple terms..an experiment..put two props, ball or box etc., into the scene...place one in front of the figure and one behind. adjust the distance forward and backward of each. You will see the figure change as the point of focus is adjusted....at some point the figure will be fully visible...that gives you the idea how that particular feature affects the render... Lorraine

Thank you for the kind words. I am always amazed at the appeal of a unicorn....I have read the Last Unicorn and many other books about unicorns, my favorite remains "De Hidtoria et Veritate Unicornis...on the History and truth of hte Unicorn....intriguing.

Actually I did not notice the neck until it was pointed out, I think it has to do with the angle, but I will see if changing the shirt helps as I do not know how to eliminate part of the neck at this point. I used two layers to soften the colors which gave a 'wash" look. Thank you for your observations.

hair was stock model, then used some transparancy settings, then touched up with photopaint, but I did very little as the color and transparancy seemed to be alright;

The hair was male #5, stock version with a little bit of touch up I think, otherwise it is just the angle along with the light. I did struggle and tried various lights, camera angles etc. I would think that this could be duplicated in P3...

thank you, I did not use the Adam texture, where can I find it? I used the flat p4man texture...mostly tried to use lighting to get rid of the plastic look....but I agree a texture would really help. I have to learn more about how to make those photo-realistic textures...so much to learn so little time (well and get some sleep!):-)

Thank you for the kind words, the hair was done in Photopaint9 mostly, my daughter used to wear her hair this way. Unless her hair was wet it was always "active" due to the chunks that were shorter than others....you know from the times that she wanted to trim her own bangs or the places where the only thing to do was cut the bubble gum out....

use the two checks, add figure command then use the conform to command...that is how I figured it out...

I really like the creativity of this image, I would leave the brief case the same it goes with the heat sensor, light pattern type image of night vision binoculars....very well done....
