Yep, "WOW" pretty much sums up my feelings too. That is stunning Paul

Knew I wasn't dreaming about it looking wrong. Question is, what happens if you export to Bryce/Vue, won't all that get screwed up and it'll be grey again?

jarm ( ) posted Mon, 07 August 2000 at 7:24 AM

This is weird, this texture is a right pain in the butt, going across the Vue/Bryce gives you a grey jaguar again which is not much good to anybody (least of all the jaguar). I did notice the Jaguar map is totally grey, this is very weird for Zygote who's textures don't generally need any of this jiggerypockery. Maybe they screwed up or something? Anybody any ideas.

They probably did the grey texture for snow leopards etc ... And the actual texture for a Black Panther is normally not solid black. It is dark with black spots. And you can do the same in bryce/vue that you do in Poser and set the fur color. But regardless. Nice image Lorraine

But the preview for the jaguar texture is yellow not grey. I think they've slipped the wrong texture in. Anyway, I have e-mailed them for clarification so we'll see in time.

Right .. They probably have materials applied. The jaquars color varies. When they are younger they are white ... But this is pretty much guessing. They can tell you exactly

Nice image. -All I spoke with with Chad this morning... Zygote is aware of the problems with the Panther maps (different problems for Mac/PC) and have updated the files. Any new purchases will have the correct maps and associated cr2's. In addition, they will be sending email to all who purchased the maps prior to the fix, for the purpose of providing links (password protected) in order to distribute the correct files. So, keep an eye on your email. -Rob

Got mine but somehow I still have the old ones. I renamed my first mappak before dling, moved my old pak to another folder and then opened the file--but still have the b/w and purple. Something must have gone wrong somewhere--I suspect with me G. Don't think I've ever had this happen with a dl, but there's always a first. Should have moved that dled first map pak out and trashed it. Ah, well, I'm sure they will give me another password. Diane

The BW one is supposed to be used with the black panther. The Purple/black one was not supposed to be shipped. If you have the 13+ mb PC file it is the right one.

Kevin, I got an email from Doug last night and dled those-wrong, but got another email and have dled those--yes, 13.4 mb and know it is right. Just haven't opened it yet S.

I have the new map 13+mb but the panther is still purple. Claude

Try renaming/deleting the purple-black map and the black panther cr2 then rerun the installer.
