Michelle should have the answer to that one... i take it you got it 2nd hand with no manual? either way, if you check the aperture settings, it should be somewhere in there if it exists, and if ya can't find it, a quick stop over at minolta.com and a manual pdf search should help ya out.

calibrat Photoshop's colour settings. Photoshop runs its own colour and monitor settings independant from everything else, including the web.

yer browser is screwed my friend. If you aren't getting a scrollbar, your browser is wonked. I didn't upload any html linking to the pic from another server. I uploaded directly to renderosity. Bondware code automatically sets the widths on upload. If you're using something like a mozilla build, well, they admit to rampant bugs anyways...

gotta love the digital photographer's excuses that digital photography is cheaper than shootin' film...

no matter how many protection schemes you can dish out, if someone really wants the image and they have a reasonable degree of know-how, they will get it. About the only way you can safe gaurd is by not posting at all. Many people however, really want their work on display. So another thing to do would be to get your own web space and post on your own gallery, as would-be image thieves go to the big sites where there's a large volume of images to gather. If you're able to build up a good reputation with your own site, it will last much longer and speak much louder than a renderosity/deviantart account. just a few cents, and just a thought. I probably won't evencheck for replies, so I hope i offended no one.

the text looks fine to me... Im ata resolution of 1600x1200, so maybe that has something to do with it... as for text, the smaller the text, the harder/crisper it should be, too much anti aliasing makes on screen text a bitch to see. also, on the left bar, why use grafix for the text instead of an actual text? Seems somewhat pointless, as the text buttons don't do anything fancy anyways. also, when working for the web, always try and work at 72 ppi/dpi, anything above is pointless, as monitors are generally 72ppi (pixels per inch).

plugins like the Eyecandy series and Xenofex I believe. And I think there are a couple of old KPT plugins (from version 3 i think) that do that.

all these pictures are straight scans of what Wal-Mart developed, and of course, they always crop a little bit off, which is a pisser...
