Now, I am in Prime so I can't see exactly what non-Prime members are seeing. As a vendor though, I concur with these customers. It is important to show non-Prime customers very clearly the price they will actually pay so that we are not doing any false advertising.
I you want to show them what they might gain by joining Prime, the best way would be to show the Prime price underneath the main price. I am not sure though how that is going to be solved layout/programming wise right now without adding vertical space to the thumbnail box or pushing up the main price line so it no longer matches up with the icons on the left. This is probably why it hasn't been done.
The solution for now may be to make Prime pricing visible to Prime members only on the thumbnail views, while retaining full price info in the main product view so that customers can also see the difference. If that is doable.

I think so... I find them useful for sure. One thing though, is that perhaps the list of Themes could be made a little longer now that we have new themes. First I thought the new Themes Fashion and Everyday weren't showing up, but then they did show up in Prime Flash but not in Departments. So I realized it must be because the list is truncated at X number of Themes (it sorts them by number of items within each Theme). :)
Note: It seems Themes are listed as 'Genres' in the panels, that is the one I am talking about. :)
Also, in my personal store, I added Roxie as being supported by one of my items, but she never turned up in the list of Figures. So perhaps that is being truncated also? It seems to be the same sort of issue.

I hope the time and date are kept the way they are... Renderosity time. I can see my local date and time on my computer anyway. ;)

Thread: An enormous discount of 1 (!) percent for a texture set. Really? | Forum: Community Center
I am pretty sure that I am not allowed to take screnshots or quote directly from a vendors only forum.
But I just went in and checked and I can say this: Last week, several vendors were extremely upset about discovering that their products were on a 1% sale when they had in fact set a completely different amount. At least 3 vendors were affected. The vendors were NOT happy.
So site glitch, yes. There have been many bugs after the update and continuing changes. So please take that into account. Do email staff about it so they can put it on their list to fix. :)

But why would anyone put in a 1% sale if it's not a mistake? Can you think of any way the vendor would benefit from doing so that would outweigh the embarassment?

I am checking a bit myself now, and it seems that the biggest issue must be on the page MP Home? That seems to be the one with the most ads. I am not using AdBlocker.
When I go into the departments, there is only one banner ad at the top (could be a problem on a smaller screen), a sidebar with internal ads on the right side (I'm good with those), and one ad at the bottom of the page (not a problem). Individual stores also seem to have been cleaned up quite lot since the initial site launch. Perhaps some things have been improved since you visited last?
I am not excluding the possibility that we might be using different browsers or screen sizes so our experiences may differ! I am on a widescreen laptop, Windows 7, Firefox.
Hopefully, Renderosity staff will be reading this, so this might be a good opportunity to go into a little more detail on which exact pages have the worst issues, and why - what screen size and browser you are using etc. I do recall seeing that there were some issues with those things. :)

Thread: What's coming to Poser | Forum: Community Center
This is great news! :D
Also, I would definitely be interested in supporting the new figures with content (high quality dynamic clothing in my case) as soon as they come out. Let's give them a good chance this time!

You are definitely not the first person to complain about this.
What I would say, is that it is important that customers continue to make their voices heard very clearly if there is anything getting in the way of your enjoyment and easy navigation of the marketplace, or the site in general. You guys ARE our business after all. (This is me speaking as a vendor, I am not staff here and not speaking for anyone but myself).
Thank you for taking the time to post your concerns here rather than simply quietly taking your business elsewhere! This is important feedback. Hopefully it will be noticed and a more customer-friendly solution for placement of external ads is found eventually. Losing customers over this sort of thing is a serious issue as far as I am concerned.

The new Dawn version is looking great!
I make mostly Dynamic Clothing, but I often include Dawn. I have even included Dusk in one of my products. If the demand increases, I will certainly keep supporting them! I am hoping that it will with the new Dawn release.

Thread: No more promo credits | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
I always put promo credits in for everything I use. I even used to put promo credits for poses, until my pose library grew so big that I will now copy a pose from another project and no longer remember where it came from...
There is no rule, and I don't think there should be. It should be up to each vendor whether they choose to be generous and advertise for other vendors. I think it is good practice, but that is all it is. The fact that customers dislike the lack of promo credits and really appreciate them is something a vendor might want to consider. I certainly do.
Why not send the vendor in question a polite message, asking what products they used? I am sure a lot of vendors will reply. :)
