This has happened twice to me now - I don't know the full explanation for it, but I do know what causes it. The download gets a 'jump' from the server and can't connect with it for whatever reason. This makes it somehow think that it's finished, and puts it on your desktop. It's a corrupt file - that's why I use a download manager for large files. It happens less often, and more often than not, the servers support resuming. Unfortunately, CL doesn't appear to support resuming :( . Oh well...Win some, lose some.

No problem LawnDart :) . I hope you don't have to stay at it for too long - programmers need sleep too. Still on a positive side-note: I'm getting 50k a second from curious labs! Muhahahah! That fix should be minuscule compared to these patches - much better to get them now than the fixed ones later. Seriously though - don't blame yourself for this :) . Mistakes happen. Best of wishes to you for a speedy fix.

LawnDart: Will this be in a little while, or will there be a few days wait? Either way, I don't have much of a problem with that - I know everyone over there is working very hard on this patch, and I appreciate all of your hard work :) .

I've never used World Builder, but from what I understand hair cannot be exported at ALL. Clothing can be exported as a .obj file I believe. Don't quote me on this though :) . However, if you do export the clothing, it won't be "clothified" anymore. It should be in the last pose that you had it in.

Curses....I'm at 87% of the full patch...at this point, I'm seriously considering just reinstalling and using the full patch, instead of going through all that trouble again.

Hmm...It appears it's not gone....They've just removed the link. Or maybe my download is about to stop? Maybe they were nice enough to leave the actual file up so that I can download it and patch using the second patch later! Whoo!

Hey LawnDart: Since I've already applied the Application only patch, does this mean that the full patch is useless to me? Heh...Just incase, I'm going to go ahead and start on the figures only patch....On a positive sidenote, since this post has started, my downloads have jumped from 1.5k a second to 23k a second! Whooo for poser bugs that can easily be fixed!

What's that?!?! Can't install the full patch over a previously patched Poser!?! Noooooo! And I'm 41 % complete on the full one :( . Curse my intelligence.

Hmm...Well, it looks like I won't know for sure for a few more hours. I just installed the 'Software only' package, and it says it needs to reboot. I loaded it up anyways though....I live life on the edge :) . Anyways, it looks like the patch is working fine, although I messed with it for only a few minutes. The face room, which previously I was unable to use, works. Mouse wheel in the libraries work. Everything works great for me.....That is...Until I reboot. Muhahaha. It might be worth while for someone to find out where these desktop settings are stored, how to edit them, and if backing them up before installing the patch would be worthwhile - so that one might copy them back over after the patch. Programmers are people too. And people make mistakes. They make even more mistakes when under pressure - for me, that's enough said. Sorry your Poser isn't useable - I'll go try out the patch myself and see if I have better results.
