Yes, I like DAZ' new installer. Much nicer to P5 than the old one. Dunno if I like the Readme's though - I think I prefer TXT to HTML, but that's just me I'm sure.

Methinks DAZ has become a target due to their own success. There's only a few places selling very large quantities of Poser material - they're one of them. Personally, I've never had a bit of problem with them that waiting a weekend didn't solve. They put out very high quality material, they're making money doing it, and to me they're very generous to the community. Are they perfect? Heck no, but neither is 'rosity, or PoserPros, or Animotions or 3dCommune or ANY vendor. The only thing I can think of to legitimately complain about from DAZ is that they put out SO much really awesome material that I'm driving myself nuts trying to own it all. And is that really something most companies hear complaints about?

I must disagree with the 'artists' comment. Not everyone in here is an artist. Me, I'm a hobbyist who's having fun with a piece of software, and buying things to have even more fun. For every Michaelangelo, there are thousands who just like having fun with art. I don't have the time, skills, or software to make my own textures, so I buy them. I'd hazard a guess that the majority of folks reading this thread are the same. If you can make your own textures (or figures or props), bully for you and good on ya. But please don't expect everyone to be in the same position.

Since her legs below the bands are darker than above, I'd guess you've clicked on some sort of hose or stockings for her.

Then why'd they have .hr2 hair and .cr2 hair? Are they interchangeable? I wouldn't mind having 2 types of hair - I know the stuff in the Prop folder is much simpler - but I've got hair in Hair and hair in Figures - can I put all the Hair Hair into Figures?

If Spanish is your second language, does that make English your third?!? What with speaking Martian first and all..... ;)

This is the one thing I wish Poser 6 would fix - I've got Hair Hair, Figure Hair and Prop Hair - and of course all the color changes are in Pose Hair. I know they all have different internal characteristics, but I sure wish I could have one Hair tab that ALL my hair files were in.
