Thread: How to auto-save the render image you done ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - @ **hborre
Yes ... and No, it does not "automatically" save but it's relatively easy to use since it's only one click and it's right there, i.e., you don't need to use the menu(s) ... .
It was just a suggestion ... then later on, you can save** (or not [X]) **the ones you want to keep.
I use this frequently to do a bunch of test renders because it's fast and convenient.
cheers,
dr geep

You can save any of them? On my P7, it only lets me save the last one I rendered. Is there somewhere I can set this to enable me to pick which one(s) I want to save?

Quote - The 'refFigure' stuff is for the Universal Pose system. JamesG2 is the
standard reference, and each 'targetFigure' has a data file in the
runtimeFiguresRepose folder. You'll notice that the PZ2 has a whole set of 'refactor' channels
down near the bottom. These are the settings for James that would
result from your settings of the target figure. Poser calculated these
automatically when you saved the pose.Poser can then use these 'ref' settings when you apply this pose to some *
other* figure besides the target.
Thanks for this! It explains a lot! :)

A good thing to do is load Vicky, apply all morphs you like to use, turn off IK, then save her back into the figure library for future use. Saves time that way and you don't have to remember to turn off IK. ;)

Quote - I'd highly recommend Jasmina's stuff for stockings, her outfits are superconforming that fit almost any shape with ease.
The quality of this vendor is top notch too!
I totally agree! I love her work...the stockings look fabulous. In my free stuff I made yoga poses and used her Melissa stockings to render the poses. They looked beautiful!
Also recommend BB's stocking shader...it's great too, and no worries about pokethru...LOL!

Quote - Do it yourself, you'll feel real good after and then you can drive the car to a shop and treat yourself with the money you saved, only 5 things to remember when changing oil, warm the car up first, park it in a flat surface, leave plenty time to put it in as its slow to settle, have plenty trays/buckets and the most important use a ring spanner (NOT an adjustable) to undo the plug coz they can be real stiff...........Steve
Amen!
Learned years ago how to do it myself. I've never paid a dealership, or shop or anyone else to do it, unless I KNOW for a fact that they know what they are doing.

Quote - Really, LIS? Mine wouldn't even install or unpack until I burned int onto a DVD. All I got was a DVD image, not an installer.
Mine also installed without being burned onto a DVD. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled since I first bought it (twice!), with no problems, as far as that is concerned.

You're welcome! I've edited and added a couple more images and expanded the description with a bit more info. :)
Thread: Reinstalling Poser 7 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Good luck! Took me a week with SM support to get my P7 back...between work and sleep and all. Here's hoping you don't have to do a complete ditch of Poser then reinstall everything.
Opps....sorry....the user file isn't in the Program Folder....it's in the one above it...sorry! :embarrassed:

If you are on Vista, go to ComputerProgramFiles. The user file should be there, I think; I have two partitions and the user file is in the Program File folder. I had this same issue and had to uninstall/reinstall after deleting EVERY Poser 7 folder there was on my machine...turns out there were 3! If deleting the pref files don't work (as it didn't for me), uninstall/reinstall may be the only way to get it working again.
Might be a good idea to delete registry files too, but ya need to be careful with that.

Happy Birthday, Connie!
"Hey - 40 is young - especially when you're on the other side of it!"
Ain't that the truth! I'll be 56 here in a few weeks...
Glad to hear BriBri is settling in nicely. Tigger will always be with you and Bri can help with the hard times.

Oh thank you! Now if I can just get my P7 fixed so it will open, I'll really be a happy camper! I do have P5, but I prefer 7 and ver. 5 is very slow compared to it.
