It will definitely run poser 11, however you might want to upgrade the ram from 8Gb, to at least 16, maybe 32 if you intend doing big scenes, and will need to either upgrade the hd from the 256Gb ssd or use an external drive for your poser content

Thanks RedPhantom, it was setting the l'homme size morph to zero step that I was missing. Until you mentioned it I hadn't even realised that the size morph existed. My first attempt worked with it set to zero.

Has anyone had success using the fitting room to fit clothes to l'homme yet? I get all sorts of strange results with clothing for his top half, shirts etc, no matter how I try to set things up in the pose room there seems to be vertical displacement when I go into the fitting room. (I haven't tried trousers/pants yet) I think it might have something to do with the strange scaling of l'homme but don't really know.
If anyone has a step by step guide to a method that works it would be very helpful.
Of course, one of the ways suggested here about converting to LaFemme and using the l'homme morph is no longer available as the l'homme morph has been removed from LaFemme.
I've been trying to convert the m3 tunic from the daz tunic set and a basic m4 long sleeved t shirt

It appears this is not an initialised v4.
Before you upgraded to 11.2 where was your v4? Was it in Daz content library? In which case it might still be on your system . Have you searched your system for "My DAZ 3d library"? If it is still there you can just add that back to poser by using the add library function.

You can use the ui "dots". Near the bottom left of the standard ui you will see a small square with 9 dots. It will say ui.
Set your ui to the way you like it then click on one of the dots and it will fill up. When you next start poser click on this dot and the ui will revert to the version you set.
I usually click on the first dot with the ui in default settings, so I can easily get back to this if I mess things up, and click on the 2nd to save my preferred setting

if they really are rsr files (not png) they will not show as poser no longer supports these.

Some people have had problems with pre 11.2 poser leaving bits behind when uninstalled and the program still trying to contact the Smith micro servers. The advise to them was to use a 3rd party uninstaller to uninstall poser then re-install

L'homme basic that comes with p11.3 does not include genitals or morphs.

Yes the bonus content, as far as I'm aware is useable without any additional purchases, ie doesn't include things like texture sets that need you to buy the outfit to use, but there is a lot of it and I haven't even looked at all of it in detail

I agree, it takes up essentially zero space if you don't have any content in it, but for new users it allows them to load content directly from the new purchases tab in the library.
