Well, now I'm really perplexed! I just loaded the same files into Poser 5 on my son's laptop and everything is working fine! Must be some sort of corruption going on in the P5 on my computer I suppose. In any event, while I would still like to get to the bottom of this, I want to thank you EnglishBob for ONCE AGAIN, coming to my aid. :) I really appreciate it.
P.S., if you do come across what the possible problem might be, I would definitely be interested in hearing it.

Thread: Question about converting "MC6" files to MAT Pose | Forum: Poser Technical
There are two folders that I loaded into the Pose Library, one is the converted MC6 to MAT Pose folder which contains about 45 converted MAT Pose files, that particular folder displays only ONE file out of the entire 45 files. The other folder which is a regular POSE folder for use with applying different poses to M3 does not show up at all in my Pose Library. Though when I follow the paths to both of these folders, everything seems to be in there.

hmmmm, the max limit? I currently have 225 folders in the Pose Library, though one of the folders that is an issue (and has about 45 texture files) IS displaying ONE file out of the twenty some odd it supposed to display.

Thank you all so much for helping me to understand all this much better...... I really appreciate it.
To back-track a bit, would it be safe to consider that since I originally created this figure while the "Use external binary morph targets" box was checked/activated, that I could simply "uncheck" that box, and then "resave" my figure back to my Figures Libary and then delete/discard the remaining PMD file that was originally created before.... all without corrupting or affecting my newly "internally saved" morph CR2?

Thread: Creating MAT Pose file to Revert figure back to "Un-textured" state | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
R_Hatch..... I utilized your suggestions and they worked like a charm! :) Thank you very much for helping me get past this hurdle. I would also like to thank Ghostofmacbeth and Vincebagna for all your help, suggestions, as well as taking the time to help me out. :)
I know down the line I'll probably forget this process, so I'll do as I do with all the info I pick up on the forums..... I'll print it out or PDF it so it will be filed away for future reference.
Thanks again for all your help guys.... you guys are the best!

Thread: Creating MAT Pose file to Revert figure back to "Un-textured" state | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay Ghostofmacbeth, I still must be missing a step because I just followed your set up and I'm still unable to remove the previously applied textures (bring the figure back to its untextured state after applying a MAT Pose). Now, when I create the "blank" texture (using the original untextured figure) here's what I did.
Now could it be that my problem may be stemming from step #8 and/or #9. Should I maybe "uncheck" ALL the materials instead of "checking" all the materials?
Other than that, I simply don't know what seems to be the problem. I'm currently testing this on Poser 6, however my intention is to make this workable in Poser 5, 6 and 7 (and possibly Poser Pro)
Vincebagna, thanks for that link, it's very useful. :)
Thanks so far to both of you (Ghostofmacbeth and Vincebagna) for your help thus far, I really appreciate it. :)

Thread: Creating MAT Pose file to Revert figure back to "Un-textured" state | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yep, I tried that before I made this post, but nothing happens when I try to apply it and have the textures removed. At that point I figured I was doing something wrong.
On another note, I noticed that during the mtlCollection to MAT Pose conversion, that for some reason when I changed the line that read "} mtlCollection" in the MC6 version that when I changed it to "} figure" and added the "internal" name of the figure, the texture didn't take..... (IE, } figure 4SWringUD) ..........HOWEVER, when I left out the "internal" name in the line change for the MAT Pose version, the texture took. I don't know if that makes any difference at all, or if it should even work that way as I was told the "internal name" needed to be added to that line in the MAT Pose version.

Thread: Editing Parameter Dial/Settings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay ockham, thank you for taking the time to explain that to me, I really appreicate that. However, I'm dealing with multiple morphs (about 50) and only "some" of them (about 4) I want to force limits on so this actually may be more trouble than it's worth.
It was a good learning experience for me however and for that I want to thank you. :)
Your suggestions and help is very much appreciated.

Thread: Editing Parameter Dial/Settings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for being so informative kuroyume0161, I really appreciate it. I'm a bit confused though as to where to access the "forceLimits" setting. I'm looking at the "Edit Parameter Dial" window and the only values it has are for the following:
Value:
Min Limit:
Max Limit:
Name:
Sensitivity:
Is there somewhere else I should be looking for the "forceLimit" settings? Or am I missing something entirely? While I have Poser Pro, 5, 6 and 7, I'm currently testing this on Poser 6.

That's pretty much what I figured. But since I have about 50 morphs I will need to edit the "sensitivity" paramater settings on, I wanted a ballpark figure to work with. I'll try that .05 setting you suggested. For the "snap on, snap off" morphs, I actually set it to 10.0 as I really wanted to avoid any gradual incrementing. (not sure if that's any different than simply putting 1.0) If I only wanted 1 detent, in other words, for the morph to directly apply without any increments, would that be the same as a "snap on, snap off" setting? If not, what setting should I use for as few increments/detents as possible?
P.S., thanks for the suggestions thus far.....

Thanks for the input, however, I'm not looking for an easy way of accessing or managing the dials and sensitivity, I'm looking to see if there is an "ideal" value that can be used to tackle the issue I stated above.

Thread: Create as "Figure" or "Prop" ...... Setting up textures in "Pose Library" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I opened one of my MC6 files with wordpad, but the line you said I should find ("actor $CURRENT") was no where to be found.
Would this be the way that MAT-pose files are traditionally created or is this just a way to convert existing MT5/MC6 files to MAT-Pose files? If its the latter, while I appreciate the suggestion, in addition to what you just suggested, I'd also like to learn the traditional way of actually creating MAT-Pose files.

Thread: Saving Poses in exact X,Y,Z locations.... | Forum: Poser Technical
Actually, the fact that I actually did this before and couldn't remember how I did it kept bugging me so I decided to figure it out once and for all..... and after further research..... I was right when I said a 3rd party file was involved. It was indeed with PoseMagic and PoseMagic2Pose that I accomplished all this. (great products by the way) It's good to know however that Poser 7 can apparently do this on it's own.
Thanks again for the help.
