I posted a free globalillumination lightset for poser a while ago. It uses the same principal as the bryce lightdomes only there are less lights. It's only 20kb. so don;t let the size stop you.

D*amnit, the hair is floating! Imperfections that don't show when you render without shadows...lol

Thank you very much Kattman! This really helped me out! I was thinking that it had something to do with the shadowmap resolution, but always thought that if I would increase the shadowmap sized the problem would be gone. So the next challenge is to get it to work in Poser 5 then with raytracing on (will probably take 32 hours to render then). thanks a lot!

The grass is done in cinema with a free plugin called hairdepartment, what I see is wrong about the shading is that the left shoulder is receiving shadows, but the left part of her breast isn't....hmmm.....I'll have to rethink some things I guess. Thanks anyway :).

Poser 5's displacement mapping could yield some great results too. You can assign the bumpmap to the displacement channel and create real droplets, not just bumpmaps! But that's poser 5 only and I don't really kow how many poser users use it...

yes, looks awesome! This might be the look whe are looking for, needs some minor perfection but thatsit. The way I was going to try it is to draw a bumpmap that shows waterdrops, then make that bumpap a transaperncy map with 2 colors (black&white, so no gradients) and then apply them to a second figure that has the exact same pose and location but with slightly higher scales so that the outer figure functions as a second texture layer consisting of only the sweatdroplets.

I am going to try out a sweaty skin theory I came up with. It's made for Poser 4, if anyone is interested I'll post a tutorial on how I did it okay?

I don't know, but the thing that works for me is using a white highlight on your figure, that makes it reflect the lights more and thus will look wetter. I am quite interested in this tutorial too.

Thread: Shademaster, to answer your question.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks a lot for answering my question. JeffH tried it too and couldn't get it to work. Sounds like a challenge to get it working right! Thanks for telling me. I'll let you know once I succeeded.

hehe, that's my secret....I didn't make it myself. I got it from debevec.org. I am curretnly making some panoramas myself with a tripod, camera and complicated software noone understands except for it's creator. I placed the lights carefully, made the background object one-sided blablabla. I am planning on putting a marketplace item on renderosity as soon as the other 15 or so lightsets are done. Try before you buy.

no thanks poserpro. I enjoy beautifull renderers made by highspec software and thought Poser could technically do the same thing. glad you like it man!
