It's a wrong initial value coordinates on the yOffsetA OriginY hip actor channel that cause the problem, it differs from the origin coordinates when both should be identical.
Poser File editor by Dimension 3D can auto correct actor offsets, thank God this issue can be fixed in one click.
The problem comes even before saving the CR2 in library after leaving the setup room so I guess there is something wrong in the setup of the conforming clothing by PP2012.
Thread: Conforming problems after transferring Zones and Weight Maps to Clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I load a dress that I have converted previously to weight map, then on the actor hip I see that it has the OriginY set at 43,963. When I conform the dress to Genesis the OriginY flies to the incredible value of 10720 ! that's why the dress disappears from the scene and when I turn back the origin at 43,963 the dress is here conformed to Genesis perfecly fitted because I turned Genesis on V4 shape.
Is this a bug from PP2012 or does it come from the CR2 generated after transfering WM ? I hope this will be fixed in the SR1. I will try to report this situation to SM.
As expected there is some rough parts and poke through on extreme bendings but it's not that bad and the dress is of course cutted in the middle because i didn't touch the auto-grouping. I will try on some other clothes.

I followed the steps exactely indicated in the manual reference and in the demo video we have seen during the promo of PP2012 in august
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwyDh1O3tkQ&feature=player_embedded
starting at 6:52
I import the cloth OBJ file without any options
Then go to the setup room
In the library, I select the new weight mapped figure created by the DAZ exporter. Add it to the scene. The Poser prompts me "Do you want to automatically group the setup geometry based on the groups of the new skeleton", I choose YES.
I open the group editor to check the new groups. It seems ok. As I just wanted to try the auto transfer weight maps I didn't try any optimizations of groups.
Leaving the setup room, the cloth has now new groups based on the weigth mapped figure. it bends pretty correctly. I save the new item on the library. Poser creates a CR2 file with a new OBJ file and a PMD file with all (unneeded and 99% doesnt' works anymore) morphs from the Genesis figure. The CR2 has also all the unneeded actors from Genesis. I was just intended after for an edit of the CR2 to clean it.
Creating a new scene : I load Genesis and the cloth item without conforming. They both appears correctely. It's when I conform the clothing to Genesis that the cloth disappear from the scene.
I of course checked the visibility of all actors of the clothing and render the scene to check that it's not only a preview bug like it happens sometimes but nothing, no more cloth on the scene. I even try some 1000% rescaling and the most distant view of the scene, the cloth is not even somewhere else. When I de-conform to none the cloth magically reappears.
I just don't understand what is going on. I would have expect some distorsions and poke through, but this ???

I have the best results when using GC by setting for transparency maps the inverse of the GC used. If you use a 2.2 GC on the render setting then I apply (1/2.2)=0.4545 for the custom value on the hairs transparency maps.
An example on a Vickie 4 mapless with PP2012 default lights
Â
With GC OFF
Â
GC 2.2 on render settings
Â
GC 2.2 on render settings + custom value 1.0 on transparency maps
Â
And GC 2.2 on render setting + Inverse custom setting of 0.4545 on transparency maps

Thread: Morphs from figure not listed in Morphing Clothes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If your morphed figure has a value on the ChestSize parameter then just check the option "include scales when conforming" in the body parameters of the conforming clothes. Just simple as that because most of the time theses scales are hidden in the clothing. Or edit the cr2 to unhide it.

I remember I had once this problem in the past with some morphed characters of V4.
Do you have several Runtimes ? in that case all V4 Base, morphs++, Aiko4, Elite files etc should be only in one runtime, check each runtime.
The best thing to do is to remove the Runtimelibraries!DAZVictoria 4 folder and reinstall in the following order V4.2 Base, Morphs ++, Aiko4 . And if you have Elite, the Girl, Stephanie4 or Reby Sky you have to also reinstall them.
To proceed safely, just rename the Victoria 4 folder something like Victoria 4_OLD
Then launch each installer in the right order, the trick is to paradoxically choose the DAZ Studio target application because if you choose Poser the installer will not allow to specify custom folders.
We are going to save all the installed new files on a temporary folder we're going to create. So create a folder anywhere you want, name it V4 for example. After choosing the DAZ application target, select an installation path and it will be the new V4 we have created. Be sure to initialize V4 at the end of installation and do the same for the morphs++, Aiko4 etc....
On this V4 folder simply copy the Runtimelibraries!DAZVictoria4 folder on your Runtime where the old Victoria 4 was.
Now go back Poser and check if the problem was solved or not. If it's OK you can remove the Victoria 4_OLD folder and also the temporary V4 folder created.
If not or worse, then delete the new Victoria 4 folder and rename the old as it was before. And in that case I don't know what can be the problem.

Yes I have notified SM about that problem and IÂ hope it will be the first fixed one when the first SR1 of poser Pro 2010 will be released.

I finally found thoses DLLs in the Winxsx folder , they are there but one make FFRender64 crash when rendering in seperate process or background but not when rendering in queue manager FFRender64 is OKÂ then.
I hope SM engineers will find the cause of that problem.
Quote - Hmmm...   'Render In Queue' works!  I finished a simple render of the default scene with Andy without a problem. I´m rendering a more complex scene with IDL now and the FFRender64.exe process is working hard.   I´ve notified SM.
Well I guess we have exactly the same problem then.

Quote - Downloaded it today and rendering in seperate process, runs like a charm. No problems so far. Quadcore CPU and 8gb of RAM, vista 64bit.
best regards,
Bopper.
Can you confirm if you have the dlls I mentionned in your Poser Pro 2010 folder ?
Thread: PPro2010 FFRender 64bit Crashes... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It doesn't change anything , I already have the visual c++ packages installed, so I uninstalled and re-installed all of them and reinstall poser pro once again and it remains the same, thoses ****** DLLs are still missing.
I don't understand what is wrong ?
Can someone who download and install today the release version of Poser Pro 2010 confirm that he/she have no problem with rendering in seperate process ?
Thread: PPro2010 FFRender 64bit Crashes... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
But the problem is that it have to be the right version of the dll files.
It has to be version 9.0.30729.4926
and I never find this right version to download .....
Thread: PPro2010 FFRender 64bit Crashes... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Same problem for me . I think I have identified the origin of the problem.
it's because MSVCR90.dll is missing on the application folder and certainly MSVCM90.dll & MSVCP90.dll too
Theses DLL should be installed by the poser pro 2010 installer and they're not , so I think they're missing in the installer package.
I am submitting this problem to SM technical support. I hope I get an answer soon.
