Actually, I think the term I'm looking for in Rhino is scaling ... :) Thanks! I'll check over at the Rhino forum when I get a chance. John
Thread: Bryce Material Viewer anyone seen one? | Forum: Bryce
Go to http://www.wolfiesden.com/ In the downloads section he has a Bryce 4 Librarian program that he wrote for B3D. Works for B4 for everything except swapping in/out skies. He also has a Bryce 4 gallery maker tool. It reads a .mat or .obp, pulls the description and thumbnail out and writes the HTML to put it in a gallery on a page. I'm starting to think about using this to put all my stuff on CD and make an index for each directory in html for easy browsing/location. HTH, John

Hmmm... I'm just learning Rhino, so .... didn't know about the grids. I'll try messing with it. Now all I have to do is figure out how to resize something w/o screwing it up ... :)

Don't foget to make the terrains solid in the TE BEFORE booleaning them ... :) I keep forgetting to do that and then see the inside of somethings that I REALLY wished I didn't see.... :^) Works better that way.

Looks great. Minor nitpick though ... It doesn't look (to me at least) that the ceiling fan blades are balanced properly. It looks like it would wobble all over the place ... John (who happens to sleep under a fan set similar to that one and thinks he will get chopped up at night ... and is glad to be moving into his own house tomorrow ... :)

Okay, you can choose to challenge Delrino now or when you get finished with the pic to complete the triangle. Enjoy!

Well, looks like I have to challange someone else... :) Oh,and Delrino, I've not forgotten your challange. It's a WIP (very badly so at this point) and moving slowly 'cause of buying a house and getting ready to move into it!.

I've already started working on it, so it should be finished relatively soon. With my family and schedule that relatively soon may next month ... :) Moving here in the next couple of weeks and it's going to be a little crazy for a while. But, I'm working on it!

Heh. Once I get the little boy playing with his sand castle, I might just try this one myself ... Just to see how much I remember of the Arthurian legends ... :)

Hmmm.... Sounds interesting. You're on! What kind of time frame are you looking at? Kinda busy right now due to buying a house. It may take a week or three. Oh, and were you inteding this to be a triangle type challange?
Thread: How to move the image about in Bryce if it's too big for my screen? | Forum: Bryce
Also, on the section where the Zoom buttons are (lower right hand corner) is a hand that you use to drag the screen around. Before you do this, if the camera/view is where you want it, use one of the saved view buttons (don't remember what they're actually called ... :P :) to the left of the nanopreview window. That way, once you get everything set to where you want it, then you can go back. Also, the x-z, x-y, y-z movement controls right above the trackball will do the trick as well.
Thread: Using Poser and Bryce together. | Forum: Bryce
The simplest way? Have both running simultaneously, then get what you THINK is the right pose, then export and import into Bryce. Then check the pose. Make any corrections in Poser and try again. Keep trying 'til it works ... :) That's the EASIEST/SIMPLEST way that I (note emphasis, someone else will probably tell you better ... :) can come up with. There are other ways that involve modelling the camera in another program, importing into Poser and posing and then import both figure and camera into Bryce. But that's the more difficult/complicated/time consuming way (at least for me ... :) HTH, jstawarz
