Yeah... I have to agree. And I'm not even a PS pro. There are a kabillion image editor packages and, technically, every single one of them does the same thing: create and edit pictures. So Fireworks, ImageReady, Photoshop, PSP... well, they all do the same thing. But this, unfortunately, is the Photoshop Forum. It certainly wouldn't be if it didn't matter what software you used. It's like submitting your Vue image in a Poser contest. Now we wouldn't do that, would we? Course not...
Thread: Importing Poser Animation into Vue | Forum: Vue
bonnyclump, I do believe Vue comes with a version of Mover, which I've never used but I'm curious to experiment with right now. Thanx for your input tho. What I am curious about is will the version that comes with Vue do what I'm asking about here? Or do I need to purchase an upgraded version, like the one offered on the vendor's site? Because my version is not asking me about importing the whole animation. It's just importing the single scene. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong (my guess!!! :) ) thanx for the help all kmw

Okay. But how does that work? I tell Vue to display the timeline, Mover's activated but it starts asking me for a lot of information. Do I just flip through its defaults until I'm out of it and then import the Poser scene? Please, I don't want to waste too much of your time. Tell me where to look and I'll do the research. kmw

Not to step over any one else's advice but you can take svdl's advice a step further. Depending on the size of your screen, here's what you do: create a window with the dimensions as close as you can get (Window/Document Window Size). Poser can create an 600 x 800. [I don't think it can go beyond 999 or something.] Okay, you've got this giant window taking up all your space (again, depending on your monitor). But here's whatcha do. Open Document Window Size a second time, check off 'Constrain aspect ratio' and change, say, the width to a more desirable size for your monitor. The height will adjust accordingly. Even if you click and drag now, the window will retain the ratio. Here's the final step: when you're ready to render, if you indeed need the larger size, render to a New Window. Make sure under Render Options you 'Match Document Window' and the 'Constrain' option is selected. Now type in 600 for the width and boom!, you should get 800 for height. (That's of course if your original document has the correct ratio.) Just another helpful hint from the Book of Ken. take care and hope it helps kmw

Quote - MUST have two Poser characters in it [end quote] Does this mean it can't have more than two? i.e., a heartbroken woman watching her true love with someone else; a dog running alongside them, etc. Just wondering. kmw
Thread: Maybe I am over reacting, | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Great thread here.
I dare say I deliberately put a snippet of nudity in a thumbnail solely to see how many hits I'd get. (Close to 600. The closest one after doesn't even have half as many hits.) It was an experiment that I likely wouldn't indulge on a regularly basis. While I'd love to get more hits, I have no desire to go that route to get it. So the few images I have with nudity pretty much get ignored, like everything else I do, because the nudity isn't advertised. Whatcha gonna do? Even so, I always use the 'nudity' and 'violence' flags. Forget the TOS; it's the responsible thing to do.
I don't worry so much about the nudes here and my kids. I spend a lot more time raging about the f*&^#*$g adult pop-ups. I find those a lot more offensive, not simply because they're terribly graphic, but I didn't invite them into my home and never would.

Thread: April Challenge - Vote Now! | Forum: Writers
I didn't feel comfortable voting in a contest in which I had an entry. So I didn't. As for the lack of votes, unfortunately, these contests don't constitute the blatant positioning of large breasts draped across dragons, ergo there won't be that many folk drawn to this little portion of the Renderosity world. Que sera sera. What we may need is a contest with the current theme: Large Breasts Draped Across A Dragon. Still I think it was a pretty impressive turn out. I don't normally enter writing contests but admit I did enjoy this one. I can't even recall the last time I wrote a short story. Perhaps I need to sharpen the ol' keyboard in that area more often... take care and thanx for the votes, people kmw
Thread: ~~~Poser Forum Monthly Challenge... Banner Challenge~~~ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
To EricofSD: Wanna thank you for your patience in answering my queries about the contest. Especially after rereading the rules and seeing everything I bugged you about was right there on the damned page! Believe it or don't, I do usually pay attention to this type of thing. Anyway, thanks heaps. kmw

Hi, Me again. Should I use the template supplied to format my entry? Or should each image be submitted separately? kmw
Thread: ~~~Poser Forum Monthly Challenge... Banner Challenge~~~ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay, I'm going to save you some time by assuming I know what a 'Back Room' banner is. (I'm guessing the one atop this very page answers that query.) What I am very curious about is the 1 entry per person? Are you saying only one member for any single banner? Or can we submit a set (at least one of each)? Thanks in advance.

adp001, Thanx for your time. Though truth is I imagined what you advise from step one. That's why I queried would it be appropriate to ask. I'd hoped perhaps a beta tester or someone like that might have the missing file. Plus, from what I see, the vendor has suspiciously vanished from the community and that might be why I wasn't getting a response, so I thought I'd take the shot. Have a good holiday, Fredi. ******* Clint, A good holiday and a solid thanx to you as well. I'll shoot that e-mail to the store right now. kmw

Quote - Just wondering. I've used this product for a while and do love it but have only now discovered this very moment there are a few glitches in it. [unquote] errr... Think I meant to say: "... only discovered now there are ..." Minor thing, yeah. But I'm an English major, for corn's sake. Hate it when I do stuff like that... And I do it all the time... kmw
