I started using Vue for about a year now. So it's certainly great to see an old timer back in the R'osity. Hope you'll share some techniques, tricks & twicks with us. :-) If you can upload your backyard with those mountains, I'll gladly replace it with my backyard. :-) Since I'm not a modeller, I'm always searching to get hands on new models. They look nice to me. Looking forward to see those in free stuffs. :-)

ah, cool. thanks for the info. The precausion is only for the AV or also for the Firewall? I always wonder is there a way to set up two computers to render one picture? (probably in animation you would call it "one frame") But, that single picture is not for the Mover, but for the Vue itself. The concept here is, simulating the speed and memory of two PCs, to render one picture and get the job done in half the time. You know it certainly helps when the picture is going to render for 12/13 hrs. :-) Would love to know if something like that exists (even a third party software).

Hmm! seems to me you need to check up with the guys at "Boston's Rock Lovers Country Club". :-) I don't think Memory performance has anything to do with this issue. And you certainly got yourself one of the cleanest hard drive in the East Coast. :-) Sounds like you got yourself a bug. It can't be run time error, since it's happening only with rocks! Could be the some writing error occured when you installed Vue. But then you have to have this probelm on Blue rocks from the very beginning. I don't know man this one is tricky! May be Guitta & the others might have some Voodoo tricks in their sleves. Which I would love to learn myself as well. :-)

oh Gosh! you started your Masters program already? (on Vue Crashes). :-) May be Vue doesn't have the proper drivers for Boston's salty air. :-) Memory problem may be? How about hiding the other layers? Or may be it's time to clean up the OS? :-) Just giving your some pointers buddy. Even though I'm sure you already did all those on your Undergrad program. lol ... Give out your OS & hardware secrets. May be we all together can help you solve this thing once and for all.

Well, unfortuanetly I feel Nick's (niandji) pain! :-) Followed this dilemma for quiet a while now. Only because another comment (immediate post) on his gallery made me curious! This has to go back couple of months ago ... One day, me and djeser got extremely negetive comment and ranking on one of our pictures, from a person called "abirdonawire"! Cuz of his comment I deleted my picture. Then Dj send me an IM asking me, "Posting my image here was to learn or to let him win?" The following day She started a thred about ranking and commening which shooked up the entire Vue gallery. I'm sure some of you still remember. Now, Nick I ask you the same Question, "Are you posting here to learn? or to get claps only? or to let him win?" You should have gather all your evidence in first place and contact a mod; and trust me it would have been solved by now. I had 3 account names here (for good reasons), as one of my dear friend raised question about it. I contacted Mod to delete other two account names and immediately they were banned. SO SOMETIMES IT'S BETTER TO SAVE SOME TIME FOR MOMMA RATHER CLEARING YOUR SHIT! :-) This site is very strict about trolls, but if you don't let them know how they gonna take care of it??? And as per the ranking goes, R'osity's ranking doesn't mean anything. Let's say if I don't rank but comment saying, "Very well composed interesting image." I'm giving the artist a compliment but the word "interesting" is all the way at the bottom of the ranking system! See what I mean? Don't let ranking go over your head, it doesn't mean anything. It's the comments that matters, cuz someone has to like your picture enough to spare a moment to write something for you. :-) Phew! it's a long one! Nick, hope to see something new from you soon. And next time contact a mod. :-)
