I'm trying to render a picture in "Broadcast" mode ... well, I do manage to finish the rendering, but when I right click and try to save, Vue crashes! Rendering in Final is not giving me the best results. This is the biggest picture I've worked on, so far. Don't know if they will be much help, but the numbers are ... lil' over 4400 objects, 32 lights and about 10 mil polys'. The first Q. arise, whether my PC is capable of such render ... it has, P4, 1.4 GHz, 640MB ram & O/S is XP. Considering the Vue factors - it has the latest updates & Open GL is disabled. Since, it doesn't crash in the middle of the render, I'm lost and frustrated! Any suggestions, please!

You could try 'render to disk' under the Render destination controls in the Render Options dialog.

Have you tried saving the render using ctrl-f8?

Try clicking the close button on the finished picture. Then try using the export picture function on the menu. Dont know if it will work, but maybe worth a shot. Donnie

'Render to disk' sounds like a possible option (this will be 4th render). Ctrl-F8 didn't work, same about the close button and export. Thanks for your help.
