You're not going to find it here; I suggested that to modelers here two years ago and have yet to see anyone do it.
Thread: DAZ Studio | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Dan, I'm really curious as to how DAZ Studio will handle Vicky's joints and whether there will be realistic muscle motion when the joints are moved. That's always been a recurring problem with Poser figures, and I hope your application will address it.
Thread: The Big New DAZ Mystery App | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If DAZ creates a new file format for all their obj models in order to have a killer Poser-like app, then that's fine with me. I will happily migrate to it if it's OS X native.

I suggest using Mac OS X instead of Linux, which has the advantage of a polished GUI if you want a UNIX based OS that can also run other UNIX apps.

Thread: wheres the poser 5 mac version?!!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Maybe they're waiting for Apple to go bankrupt so they don't have to write an OSX version. " If so, they will have a long wait. Since 1997, there have been 10 reports written by so-called "experts" in the financial and PC world saying that Apple's demise is just around the corner. Five years later, Apple is still standing and one of the most profitable compter hardware companies around despite this recession.
Thread: POSER 5 FOR THE MAC | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Winter officially starts in December, so technically, P5 for the Mac should come out no later than this month November. Given all the nasty bugs in the Win version, however, I think it's safe to say that P5 for the Mac will remain as vaporware for the forseable future.

All I use Poser for nowadays is to set up the pose of the figures, import them into Cinema 4D, build the rest of the environment/set there and render using radiosity. It is inconvenient having to use Poser in Classic instead of Mac OS X, but I can live with it. I'm hopeful that Daz's mystery 3D app will turn out better than P5 and be available for OS X.

Here Timmy, c'mon boy, do another Mac bashing trick for a cookie! Yessirree, good boy! Now roll over!

If you're really that anxious to participate in all the misery created by P5, just run it on Virtual PC with Win XP and start tearing your hair out! :D

If you want to get excellent renders of Poser models, use Cinema 4D XL. I just use Poser 4 to pose the models, export them into Cinema 4D XL and render them there.
Thread: daz3d store - what browser for mac works? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
IE 5.2, Netscape 7, Mozilla 1.1, Chimera 0.5 and Omniweb 4.1 all work with the Daz store. It sounds like it's time for you to upgrade to Mac OS X Jaguar 10.2 so you can use any one of these new browsers.

Tim, you were born a nasty, miserable little man, and so I know you just can't help it calling Mac users Nazis or anyone who has the nerve to question your choice of platform, especially since you ARE a bigshot rocket scientist who thinks he's got the biggest IQ and pecker on this planet. It's just the way you are, and I truly feel sorry for you and anyone who has the absolute misfortune of crossing your path or who can call you a blood relative. Go ahead, you can flame away as much as you can and want while I enjoy the stability of my UNIX-based Mac and pity my coworkers who have to endure yet another technical support phonecall to Redmond or another runaround from their IT person.
