I wanted to write that I'm a man an I never read manuals ;) but this time I read.
I loaded figure in def pose and hair in def pose. Conformed and they disapear. I checked all body parts proportions but all looks correct. (scale = 100). When I selected hairs and restored figure they apear on head. I think that I can have strange bug - my system should be reinstalled and some applications work weird, maybe Poser too.

First time I set specular = 0 but crack and scratch were unvisible, then I set specular .01. I know that it should look not natural but effect was better. I think that I cannot work with lights. I checked google and I think that shiny shader looks like plastic imitation of bark on cheap IKEA furniture, but with 0 specular it looks even cheaper ;)
I like last GeneralNutt shader - right trunk. No shiny and does not look flat, but I think that shadows of leafs make it black.
Some time ago I wanted make more relistic pattern (I do not know, if any tree looks like this one). I tried make procedural material with 2d shaders, but it requred good UV mapping, then I gave up. Moreover I do not understand all description of optical physics, which I found in threads about shaders and I'm too old to learn it ;)

I guess thet you use my shader with using printscreen as a colour source.
I have P7 and you have P8 or newer. I have brown bark, you have green :)

I think that I use default poser units, but this shader use only relative sizes (%). Marble is 3d shader, it works even on meshes without UV maps, but is applied according to "zero pose".
Hmmm. I must change my computer. I still work on AMD and cannot use P9. I see that on your render my shader looks very different.

2.6 looks better. I think I'll not try to fix my mesh with blender, but I'll try again to learn this software. Thanks for info.

Additional pictures show that plastic surgery destroyed vertex order on her face and expression morphs do not work.
BRW such a heavy makeup reminds me of chili on broth. When you add spice to soup it disperse on the surface. I think that if girl with makeup jump to water efect is similar.

Thanks. I tried to use blender few years ago, but gave up. Hex looks more "Microsoft style".
I downloaded Hex some time ago - when Daz released free version, but not installed yet. I noticed that Poser, Vue and one more 3d software (do not remember which one) did not wanted cooperate when some video codec were installed.

Thanks for reminder. I just dowloaded it from Daz store.
Although would be nice if I can fix existing mesh - I spent few hours adjusting each vertex ;)

Quote - If you make a prop, make sure it has the face morphs you will use so the hair follows the face.
Allison and Ryan both came with body hair "caps" if you use those models.
There is a discussion at poserplace that includes body hair and beards as well as various techniques for making hair.
Make prop dynamic cloth and select all as constrained group. It acepts all body morphs.

Dynamic hairs depends of polygo size and shape. Maybe some prop, similar to skullcap, (browcap?) would give bettter results.
