As to the educational license for Interposer pro, I shall be purchasing the software from you at the full price as I believe independant developers should be fully supported and that is only going to happen if we pay them what they are worth, though my spending spree will have to wait until November.

Just a question, what are magnet morphs.???, in V4-et al, and how do they affect the figure.??

and one final question, as I am a teacher I believe I qualify for the educational discount on Cinema, so if I purchased the educational version, would the full version of interposer pro register okay with it, or would there be some serial number issues.

Crap, this is ludicrous and I hope it gets sorted out quickly. I came here today to buy this model only to find it unavailable.

Anyone with half an eye can see that this model is different from SA's the horde (which I also own).

I would be more than happy to purchase this model under a 'private' arrangement if required.

How nicely does this figure play with interposer pro and importing into Cinema.  I have heard that there are new ERC controls that make this figure not fully compatible with Carrara, which I currently use.

But I was wondering if Daz has done anything with it that causes compatability problems with your excellent software.

The reason I ask is that I am going to jump ship from Carrara to cinema, and as I am a heavy content user, for my sins, I would like to know of any issues.

Re the Carrara render. The reason it looks plastic is due to the fact that imported content tends to come into carrara with very high highlight and shininess settings, these need to be adjusted in Carrara's shader room.

Also default scene lighting In Carrara tends to have an ambient light value of 20%, this tends to bleach out textures and shadows quite badly, hence the need to enter a value of 0% to get more realistic lighting (as a start).

I have just seen another thread re, orions stuff.

I tend to buy stuff as a  project comes up that requires it otherwise I would be spending a fortune at these places buying stuff that I 'may' use in the future.

Its madness really, this stuff doesn't exist outside of a software enviroment. It shouldn't have a 'shelf life', Its not perishable. Most frustrating and bizarre, but Hey hoo.

Some warning that this was going to happen would have been nice though, thereby giving customers the oppertunity to purchase items before they disappear.

Carrara will out of memory error, once it reaches about 1.7 mb, of  your physical system Ram.

Have you tried monitoring ram usage via task manager to see how much ram Carrara is trying to use for this scene.??. I would be curious to know just how much it is trying to use.

If its not using the full 1.7mb that would indicate that theres maybe a prop in your scene that Carrara doesn't like and then exits.

I must admit I have created scenes FAR larger than the one you outlined, with top quality settings/GI enabled, with no problems regards memory usage.

I have to second this.

Learn to adapt your workflow to create your scenes Directly in Carrara. It really is quicker once you adapt to this way of working.

I literally haven't created a scene using poser for months now. Nearly everything done in C6.

This product and the proposed range of add-ons sounds excellent. Its a long time since I have been excited at the arrival of a new figure.

I can just imagine my pirate ship manned by twenty or so of these guys. This sort of innovation is long overdue in my opinion.
