Thread: C4D wip | Forum: Bryce
wow, this is quite cool.... I would love to see some kind of tram-way going paralell with one side of the street and casting some complex shadows on the foreground. just my 2 cents:) the scene is amazing so far, cant wait to see some textures!

Thread: WIP: Realistic Scene | Forum: Bryce
Looks great so far---the only thing in my opinion that makes it look unrealistic is the lighting. I would try using some low volumetric lighting in the skylab, or make stronger shadows (If it was daytime, I would think that the tree on the left would cast a deep dark shadow). Try experimenting with sun placement, sometimes moving it slightly in another position can change the whole atmosphere of a scene. Amazing work on the texturing and placement so far though, cant wait to see the finished product!

simplistic but amazing---the textures are phenomenal. This would be awesome if it was part of a website, like pogmahone said, endless possibilites if they were turned into animated buttons or something in flash. keep it up!
Thread: latest work in boredom | Forum: Bryce
I've been sitting in a vat of boredom since the summer started, at least boredom with Bryce, only because of a massive lack of inspiration I've been having. So, I feel ya, but I havent had the motivation to even mess around that much, so I applaud you. As far as the pic, I like the model alot, especially the falling sand, nice detail. And the "review" up there, now THERE is an example of obvious boredom:) back to my game of solitaire. :(

Danamo: strange you ask because I picked up that issue a few months ago and LOVED IT, I still flip through it almost weekly. (i also love the layout of the mag, i want to get a subscription.) Catlin: When they first asked me, I had the same idea as you--larger market....more income....but, soon i found out they arent offering me to sell through them, they are offering to buy the models from me, so i would not be getting income from the sales just a 1 time payment. thanks for the advice anyways:)) Incarnadine: heh, glad you asked:) I borrowed Far Cry from a friend, and am absolutley amazed at the gfx, stunning--the gameplay is cool and all but visually the game is a work of art. Also a little bit of BF: vietnam and UT 2004. Im really happy that I can now run up to date games! and also, for anyone interested here are my specs: AMD 2600 XP, 2.0ghz GeForce FX 5200 -256mb 512 pc2700 (soon to be a gig!) 80 gig HDD ASUS nvidia motherboard

Radiohead <<<24/7
The Pixies
The Bad PLus
Beck
I reccomend The Bad Plus to anyone, they are piano/stand up bass/drums (no vocals) that do some amazing jams, and most of all they do a kick arse cover of Iron Man by sabbath. Jazz and rock fans will appreciate their genious. :)
also the occasional Fellowship of the ring soundtrack gets my imagination flowing, and I pull out the olde' radio and listen to NPR every once and a while.
and I listen to Joy Division every once in a while....ah the 80's.

Thread: WAYYY OT, BUT THIS IS SERIOUS | Forum: Bryce
sometimes I think about the country, and I feel like if I was called to duty that i should accept it without question, especially after seeing WWII vets, I have a deep respect for them--- then I think about the world as a whole, billions and billions of years old, humans just a stain on it's timeline, and from the fall of the roman empire til' today, just what the hell is a country anyway? dont mean to offend anyone, but thats just been on my mind.... thanks for the link as well ibass.
