Well this is going to be a very long thread. Could someone please tell me and the whole world how they think that Macs are visually attractive? Because I then must be the one with the white cane! Also has anyone got the link to the After Effects Mac v Pc with the crazy bar graphs (!) speed test? The one with the 1.42Gb Mac, not the 1.25Gb. (Have this thread into the 100 entry bracket by the time I get back.)

MACS ARE UGLY! MACS ARE STUPID LOOKING AND WHOEVER DESIGNED THEM SHOULD GET 50 ON THE BARE BUM WITH HIS WHITE CANE! I keep mine on the floor, yes they are attractive and futuristic from the side view and in the brochures but the business end that we actually see is straight out of Great RnR Swindle! As for the iMac, no-one wants a 1950s refrigerator in their office or living room, so please lets keep a level head about this attractiveness thingie.

But aren't Macs god for GRAPHICS? Poser? Graphics? Makes sense doesnt it?

Problem might be that if you only want 1 module you wont be able to get it unless you also purchase one or two you dont want at all. You may try to get gravity but have to get face room and whatever else is in the PACK-OF-THREE, putting the price back (and the required specs) up to where it was.

I call it my PAUSE BUTTON THEORY. In the early 1980s lots of new home videos were coming out with a new feature called PAUSE STILL, but it was a useless gimmick unless you could magically pause it exactly on the required frame, so some came out with an extra button labelled FRAME ADVANCE. This meant that after you paused the picture you could keep pressing the other button till you saw the right frame.

Videos with PAUSE STILL were cheap, but it cost hundreds for one with FRAME ADVANCE since they came with all these stupid gadgets we didnt use.

Ive seen this pricing wobbly on everything from bread-rolls to soon we presume computer software.

bung them all onto cds and get a cataloging system for removables, just remember where you put the cd.

heard all about Zone Alarm (mostly bad) all other solutions are good, just not working on our nw yet

Do all of these files appear on a list stored WITH THE FILE? If so we could go into the text version of the file and...

I dont know about files in P5 (Ill find out in June) but in Poser 4 there is a routine where a file would become unusable and could not be opened, its icon would change. At the same time another file would appear with PZSAV_ at the beginning of its name. Eg if something happened to the file pleaseblowupthisfile.Pz3 it would be accompanied with Pzsav_ pleaseblowupthisfile.Pz3 which would be a copy of the original file. Can you see files that look like this.

Thank you While where here it might be usefull to get the DEMO version of Poser 4 as well since I may have to run it on a public network. This will only be for emergencies and demonstrations but Im worried about all the hoons who get on this wire. Once again, Im not trying to start a warez thread and I do have a serial number.
