" Hey fellow Aussies, will we get thumped with import duties and GST on our orders and if so, do you know who we pay?>
I spoke to DHL and they aren't sure whether customs will auto clear or not - although I spoke to customs a few weeks ago and they said that if excise(which there is none on software) and GST come to under $50 they don't bother collecting - but they also added that the carrier may collect....
So let's hope Customs clears them OK - a quick calculation back then showed we were under the $50 limit, so cross fingers...
First one to find out - let us all know.
PS. Mine was undergoing clearance at 10.13 last night.

I am guessing that maybe the Central European Distribution Warehouse for DHL is in Colonge, Germany - hence, someone has mistaken Aust. for Aut. and my Poser 6 went for a trip to Germany......

I figure it went to Germany because someone thought it read "Austria" So the "D" part of it may stand for Dick - the "H" & "L", I will leave up to your imagination....:)

I have exactly the same problem I have a 10 digit tracking number and living in Australia paid $AUD 88 for shipping, but 24 hours after getting the email the dang number doesn't work - For what I paid I would sure like to know where it is!

No sign yet of the tracking number being activated - it's now 03:59 in the morning UK time so my guess is that they got the boxes out the door last thing at night and UPS won't enter them in their system until start of business today... Although the email was marked as CST - so they sure do things funny - ship from England and send emails from USA????? This is very exciting but without the tracking number being in the system yet I did a delivery calculation on the UPS site and it shows earliest as Wed 6th or up to Friday 8th depending on which method they are shipping by...:(

Got my Email! - looks good to see that order fulfilled on the DR site and a Tracking Number - although that isn't working yet. So I figure perhaps 3 days to either Sydney or Melbourne and another day to Country Victoria - might just see it before Wednesday....
