Does the sign mean that all the children in the area are slow?!? lol. Around here there are deer crossing signs, and the hunters shoot the hell out of 'em! I think the leaves on the ground on the 1st one are a nice touch... looks more like fall than winter. Also cool fog in the 2nd one. Nice.

Awesome (as usual)! The color scheme works really well, and the feeling of the image matches perfectly with the written words. Hope you made it large enough for poster size!

Whooooops! Nevermind... I forgot youre from the Northeast. The Carolina Wildlife Management area made me think you were in North Carolina, and that seemed like too much snow. Guess I was just up too late. Wish we could get some snow. Our high today is supposed to be in the low 70s! In January!!

Thanks all for all the comments! The first picture is the one I like the most too. The place just seemed like a dream. I posted the 2nd one because I thought the shadows across the field were interesting. Actually it got better after I took this one, but that was my last shot on the roll of film. Doruksal - You busted me! The smaller of the two brown plants is actually a copy of the first one! That's why they are almost identical (smaller/reversed). I just thought the one by itself needed some company. Michelle - I was hoping you'd catch this. Judging from your photographs I knew you would appreciate the first one. BTW, it's in the Ozark Mountains, one of America's best kept secrets

n, yes, I do use levels sometimes too, although there is a lot of overlap sometimes between the dark, mid & bright where as if you wand a certin level out, it's a more exact boundery. Just depends on the pic, I guess!

We've got a T1 line here at work, and it's usually really fast, but sometimes lately on Renderosity it is as slow as my 56k at home, and then a few minutes later it's almost instant! Inconsistent when visiting here.

A warm summer day. In the gulf waters, there was some very fine seaweed in the water. As the tide slowly receded, each wave didnt make it quite as far as the previous wave, and the seaweed left a line at furthest point of each wave. The area of the picture is about 4 feet wide. Congratulations PunkClown! PS: Alpha - No, Im not attempting to take over the contest area! But this could be a fun thing for us to do by taking turns!
