As I commented on the gallery post, I loved the color on "Starved Rock 2004 #4" posted by Misha. But, in spite of the color, which really made the photograph, I thought the basic rock design was strong by itself, and was overshadowed by the color. This may be unconventional, but in my comments I threatened to post a B&W in the forum, so I thought I better do it. This is it. I still like the color better, but if I'd never seen it, I'd like this too.

I didn't just desaturate. Messed around with several layers, but can't remember them all now.
