Oh great I love these details :)
Er, I've made a skull cap but I'm not the one doing the hair conversions... I'm making new hair ^^;
As well as some other shiny things. :)

Okay, well I've made a basic skull cap that I'll need to fit to her precisely when she's available, and making some really nice hair for her :D :D :D
And a couple SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER cool things to make her "sparkle" hee hee.
Another question, will Dawn have any normal maps? And specular maps? SSS maps? For DS as well as Poser?

hurray! All of that sounds absolutely fantastic and thanks for the update :) I kind of envision all of us hunched around the computer clutching a cup of our preferred daily beverage, peering bleary-eyed as we hit the refresh button while working on test renders of whatever we are working on... :)
I'm working on a couple things myself ^^ i will have fit it after Dawn's out but yeah :D Can't wait!

Quote - Well, I am still concerned about the PMD thing. There is apparently no final version of inject PMD for DS4+. I 'think' that this will prevent DS4 users from getting some items from Poser only freebie makers. (I know, I am not usually concerned about DS users, but ....)
Yes, I know how to create a PMD morph, the issue is additional support for DS users.
Bill
Let me go find it, there's a way to load PMD files in Daz 4+, it worked in 4.5 too. Believe me, that's how I use Melody and Micah morphs and i would never give them up! ;)

No, i love the long eyelashes, mascara or not. It's the gap between the upper and lower lashes. Google eye, or eye lashes. Almost always, curled or not curled, long or not, mascara or not, the eyelashes meet at the furthest corner of the eye. That's what I'm pointing out.

Just a few examples so you can see what I mean.

There's something weird about the eyelashes on Dawn... thought so before but more noticable in the newest image. There's too much space in the outer corner of the eye between the top and bottom lashes.
See this pic for example, or google any eye pic. The top and bottom eyelashes touch or nearly touch, by the outer corner of the eye. Mine not only touch, they often merge unless I curl my upper eyelashes up. The large gap between the eyelashes on Dawn detracts, IMO, from her realism and beauty. Perhaps a morph to fix the eyelashes would be needed? I could look into that whenever Dawn is out. :) I have another couple of other things I'm starting to make for her, roughly anyway. :)
She's gorgeous though and hope I haven't stepped on any toes with my feedback on the eyelashes.
I'm thrilled and can't wait for her!!!

Well in ds if you have the rigging tools, you can use the transfer tool to rig any obj as a conforming clothing item for any figure. If your mesh is shaped for the figure of course. So in theory you should be able to rig clothing for the new figure, especially if they are kind enough to supply a developers donor rig.Autofitting I dont know about but .. I saw Philc's name go whizzing by at some point. Which means a pretty good bet that Wardrobe Wizard compatability is in the cards. And of course theres the new Fitting room in poser2014 which is lovely and very useful.
"And, question to Lyrra, will we be getting kimono for this lovely?"That I can't really say at this point ... the kimonos were a bear to rig the first time. If this figure is popular enough, and I dig my way out from under the pile of projects I have waiting ..maybe. I think the new rigging options in pp2014 would make it considerably easier. In the meantime I can say that the kimonos convert very nicely to dynamic cloth in poser.
Everyone else
I think now is a great time to start making wishes for clothing items- new and conversions.
Lyrra
yeah... i tried converting kimonos but it just doesn't work without re-rigging the sleeves separately and i don't know how to do that. :( whimper Cloth room doesn't help DS users, sadly.
But I will definitely be requesting kimono sets from you for Dawn :)

Can we get an auto rig for using in DS? One thing I love about genesis and Ds4.5 is being able to load, even an obj, as long as it fits to Genesis, and rigging it. I may have to tweak it, but the majority is done automatically by Daz Studio.
Or an autofit clone?
And, question to Lyrra, will we be getting kimono for this lovely??? :)
Been checking this thread about 8-10 times a day here. :)

Quote - From what I can see with Dawn the only BIG limitation between Poser and Studio content would be dynamic clothing.
All the best.
Great Uncle LROG
Not Really!
These days, depending on the dynamic clothing item, i import and rig it in Daz studio. Not as beautiful as dynamic, and not everything is suitable to rig, but that's what i do!
A limitation from the other side is the awesome LAMH presets that I made and definitely plan to make for Dawn! they don't work in Poser. :(

Please tell me it will reappear elsewhere?
Another vendor's stuff is gone from the Daz store... one whom I have many things from... and many more were yet in my wishlist.
Who's stuff is gone now?
Delurking to answer. Looks like Lisa's Botanicals are all gone.
And count me as one more looking forward to playing with the new kid on the block.
They're still there: https://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=lisa%27s+botanicals
What would we do without all that great foliage and plant life!!

Okay! As a Daz user....
I plan to make a set of morphs, at least 1, and well as make LOTS and LOTS of DS LAMH hair style presets!
Wow, it's great seeing so many of you wonderful folks involved in this project! I'm sure what you guys reveal will be no less than fantastic and amazing! :)

Oh my.... I thought Alessandro knew about that already cuz I've been checking to see if there's a new thread there every day! HAH so glad you mentioned it RamWolff! :)
Thanks for the new videos, I love seeing how much functionality is in LAMH! Fabulous!

Don't worry the burn is already much less painful tho the skin is thin there and can split easily so i just have to be careful while the new skin grows.
Alessandro will you post updates here or at the new Daz forums? I keep checking to see if you post there or here.
So excited as usual :)
