Thanks for the advice and help. If anyone is interested, I posted the story at a WOTC message board. At the URL shown. I would have liked to put it here, but if I change the names and places etc... it would take too much away from the story and character. Since WOTC owns the copyrights to Forgotten Realms, if I post it on their website, I figure they can't complain. It isn't like I am a pro or anything anyway. Thanks again.Hydra

This is where my research has lead: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=contactinfo/legal They seem to be more concerned about art work. I didn't see anything specifically related to storytelling. So I am entirely at a loss to make a good decision on the matter.

I recall reading an article about how Paramount was going after Star Trek fans in the early days of the World Wide Web for copyright infringement. They were shooting themselves in the foot, ultimately they decided to call it free advertising and leave it at that from what I read. The cost of tracking down the millions of fan sites and filing litigation was a real quagmire. Who knows if what I read had any truth to it at all, it was on the internet. :)

Great let me know asap because I would like to post the story. I have tried contacting WOTC to no avail as of yet. I have also asked on their message boards resulting in the usual and predictable smart-arse responses but no real info.

For which Character? I can tell you that for the Poser 4 woman, To date I have had excellent results from using The "Poser 4 woman Bump Map" file from http://www.dreamlandworks.com (in the downloads section.) This works well with any posette skin texture I've ever used. When I use it with SnowSultan's "Vicky Buster" texture the results are incredibly realistic. I have Poser 5 and I can tell you that Poser 4, using The maps I have just mentioned, give this highly touted "Poser 5 firefly" renderer and Judy a run for their money. 'course if you use the maps I mentioned IN poser 5 with the firefly renderer you will find yourself touching the screen trying to feel for a pulse!

I hear you brother. I am having a hard time figuring out how ya diffuse your Alternate Refracted Kd Translucence Mult Reflection Gradient highlighted Edge Falloff Bump colorramp math_blender Cellular Fractal Sum component raytraces. As if it wasn't bad enough keeping track of what your polygonal center point falloff inverse kinematic spline chain is doing in any given quaterminion interpolated keyframe. Now all the sudden I have to know how to be a friggin artist too!?!? It's enough to make ya want to go back to finger painting. ;p

Make sure you have shadows turned on for each of the lights in the "lights properties", and also ensure "ground shadows" is checked in the display drop down menu.
