Camera means chamber. Camera obscura is a dark chamber. The fenomenon of light projected though a small hole in a dark chamber casting an image was described first by an Arab scientist about the year 800.

Well, I tried the full and the incremental updates, and Vue will not render to disk with either one. Imports objects fine, though. Funny, it will ask me if I want to overwrite the file ( I had, in a previous version rendered a test ). Frankly, it seems to me, that E-on must test their software on a couple of computers, then let her rip. As for the BAK folder, this time I just copied the contents of the Vue directory to a new folder. C'mon, e-on, jive us a break!

The cameras should take overlaping pictures with a peparation of about 2 1/2 inches for normal viewing. For macro shots, they should be apart one 30th of the distance of the camera to the subject. For distant views you should separate them more than the 2 and 1/2 inches. They should not be toed in, that is, they should be on the same horizontal axis. You can aim them up or down as long as they are level. For best results, include something in the near foreground, that is not cropped in any way. If you want to show for best advantage, don't show buildings or landscapes head on, but make it so that you have a good variety of objects receeding into the distance. Any other other depth clues, such as haze and color perspective help.Thread: Stereo pairs rendering? | Forum: Vue

There are no simple settings to get stereo pairs, but it's not hard; just create two cameras. If you want to convert them into anaglyph images, use this: http://www.rhein-ruhr.de/~schrammel/3d.html VRJoy, a set of LCD glasses allows you to model in 3d in Vue.- Not really useful. It works great with Amapi, though.Thread: Vue 4.03 Update Is Out! | Forum: Vue

Corel Dream 3d is an older version of Raydream, which I always found difficult use. It's got a great extruding tool, though. If you try Amapi, there's a good forum at Yahoo, which is frequented by Phillip Steiger,a one man support powerhouse. The interface is not standart, but, once you get used to it, you'll whish your other apps were as well thought out. Good luck.

Looks to me as if you could use a good modeler. Try Amapi 4.15. It's free, and more than just capable. Try this link.-Fernando.Thread: How many people are using Vue 4 with Windows 98?? | Forum: Vue
Another thing, the Batch render program will do weird things. If you open it, it will create a script file. If you then close it without doing a batch render, there will be an empty batch render script. Locate the script and delete it. If you want to see if this is the problem, just move the Batch.exe into a temporary folder and do a render.
Thread: How many people are using Vue 4 with Windows 98?? | Forum: Vue
I've had some problems with the render to disk issue. One fault is that if you are using win98 second edition there is a problem with mapped drives. There's a patch posted at Microsoft. I forgot the name of the file, but if you scroll down the list of patches you will see it. Just look for a file that mentions "mapped drives". Also, if you installed a graphics program AFTER you installed Vue it may have overwritten a Vue file. I know it sounds weird. But that is the only explanation I could come up with. If the Microsoft patch doesn't cure it, re-install Vue. Good luck.

I went through the same. I couldn't get to the V4 update. I kept getting to the update page for V2 (the free version that I had previously registered). What I did is substitute the V2 serial number in the URL with the V4 serial, and that led me to the proper page.
