Quote - Hey, Tiny! You really want to look into zbruush fibermesh if you own it. It made me think of you.
Don't own it and have no clue what it is. I did see Mec4D's testings which I think was that. Will have a look.

Good looking shaders Snarlygribbly. And thanks for sharing.
I was in a desperate need for a chrome (ish) shader and will use these for my testing.
BB, your shaders looks fab as always. Can't wait to get my hands on those. :)
Waves to Gareee! Long time no see/hear. :)

Thanks BB. Also for the laugh from your first post. Needed that. :)
Am not a Python coder but can understand a bit of what is going on.
Thanks for the search terms. Had no idea what it may be called. I will go on from there.

Phil, you didn't give it enough time that's all, it'll come to you. ;)
About the meaning of it all I think someone, we can call him God, made some computer programs/games and the ultimate was to have a self supporting character that went on with his business taking care of the place (earth). Bug testing couldn't be done due to the huge project and not too many others around... well we see the result around us. :)
So the question I have is: Does he have a plan B/C/D, a patch, will he redo the whole thing or just tend to other things and forget about it?

Solved it!
Typical isn't it, you sit with an issue trying different solutions and after giving up and posting on a forum about it you go and solve it. Doh!
Thread: Figure circle off and BVH file | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
@Geep, thank you! :)
You are so right lesbentley. That was what I ended up doing, zero the hip x and z, then all was fine. It's been a while since I worked with Poser so I had forgotten this (and a lot of other things).
I needed to have it this way to be able to have a python script working which renders steps in a circle around the figure (ockham's script).

Since I had not too many frames in this animation I corrected the hip params frame by frame.
Still would like to know if there is an easier way. :)
Thread: Change BVH animation from 'moving' to 'in place'? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks everybody.
I loaded the BVH file in Poser 8 and it showed up properly.
I only need about 30 frames of walk animation but the walk designer gives ugly results so will have to pick out frames from these BVH files me thinks.

Will do and I'll test it with Poser 8 too.
The BVH files are the free ones at this place. Great animations.

Hi,
The thing is the graph palette is completely empty no matter what I choose in the drop down menu. I have the hip selected and have tried with body with same difference.
Anything else I can try?
---- edit ----
Sorry, when the body is selected I see the red, straight line in the graph palette.
Thread: Script works in P8 but not in P2010 | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
All fine now! Thanks everybody.
For some reason it works as expected this morning. Must have been something I did wrong yesterday. :)

Thanks guys for responding.
The strange thing is that it runs the script but doesn't move the cam, every picture look the same.
I'll have another look at the scrip (with my morning brain) and see if I can figure it out.
Works fine in P8 though but I need to use P2010 for these pictures.
@Allstereo, I'll have to check with ockham first if it's ok with him.
