I just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved in this post. I avoided the Hair Room like the plague since forever, and this thread helped me learn about some of the do's and don'ts. I will say, that Dynamic hair can be truely daunting, but if you have the patience it can produce wonders!
Feel free to stop by my gallery to see what I've learned. The images 'Rough Patch' and 'Milk' use what I have learned (Nudity Advise). I didn't want to post the pics here as this has been an 'advisory' free thread, and I'm not one to muck that up!
Anyway, I am still learning the ropes, and check this thread daily as it has been envaluable! So thanks again!

From an outside perspective, I'd just like to add that sometimes the 'look' you are going for can be achieved through multiple prossess. As mentioned above BB's and other's skin shader setups can achieve what you are looking for. It just takes patience to learn a bit about 'why' and 'what' is going on with those changes. Especially in reguards to P9 and PP'12 with the subsurface addition.
But what get's forgotten, is that no matter what shader setup you might use to 'improve' upon the texture you are using, some textures just WON'T look right to 'your' eye. And that is what is most important. Don't worry as much about what others think, as long as you are happy with it. Everyone sees things differently.
Back to my main point, multiple processes. Sometimes taking a so-so render can turn in to a gem by a few postwork adjustment. One way you can make almost ANY skin 'pop', is through postwork. And it's easy!!! In a nutshell, without hyjacking the thread, using multiple duplicate layers in a postwork program (GIMP, PsP, PS, etc) and using different blend modes can improve upon a lot of images to 'your eye'. It just takes some playing around and having fun.
Now keep in mind, it's not the 'solution' for everyone, but it is a good starting point on learning what a few extra minutes can earn you what you might have in your mind. I won't explain in depth here, but if interested feel free to PM me and I'll try and help.
Sorry if this post wasn't relevant to the discussion.
Anyway, take care, and have fun!

I hear ya there! Thank you all for stopping by. I'm not sure how I can help in these forums just yet, as I'm still a little baffled on what 'I' do. At least in a way I can explain it. It's one of those things that you just do, and don't think about. BUT! I'm sure I could help anyone that asked a direct question. I think then I could focus on 'how' to help.
That being said, I am going to stop being such a troll and actually 'try' and help when I think I can.
In the mean time, it would help if I was asked questions on things I do well, so I will know what I am good at. That make any sense?

Thank you all. And FrankT, I know your stuff well. I learned how to get better at shadow play by studying yours and Tea_Rex's galleries. ;)
RobynsVeil, I wouldn't call yourself a nobody. I personally think you have an imaginitive eye. I really love the lighting in your pic 'Why?'.

Thank you FrankT I didn't see that. I'll post this there. ;) **
**@kyhighlander59, I used a combination, plus my own tweaks. CS9 from Adam Thwaites for face morph base. Body is custom.
