This won't win any beauty contests with it's looks, but here's a thought...measure around the barrel and go visit the automotive parts store and look for an oil filter handle that might fit around once it's clamped down. Then you could bend the handle 90 degrees and use a c-clamp to clamp the handle to your tripod head. Just an idea to get ya started...hope you come up with something that works.

Sure..I'll be a tie breaker...I vote for self-portrait...and if it wins, try and reveal something about yourself (personality, likes, hobby, etc.) besides just your "outer shell."

seems that the forum uploads pretty quickly though...I'm wondering if Renderosity has enough drive space to keep up with all the uploads...just a thought...surely they have prepared for future growth??

I can't leave a buddy hanging out in cyberspace without a parachute...try this link for color management. I have been familiar with PDN for many years and their technical writing is superior... http://www.pdnonline.com/newprod/features/colormgmt.htmlThread: Scanning 4x6 glossy photos and color matching to monitor? | Forum: Photography
I feel your pain, but can add no gain to your dilema. My scanner (HP ScanJet) does a pretty good job with accurate colors. My problem is when I try and print it out to true color. There is color matching software out there, but I can give no recommendations.
Thread: More Borderline Abstracts? | Forum: Photography
#3 did it for me as far as being the most abstract. Although I like the position of the pole best in #1. But how any of this reminds anyone of Jeff Stryker is beyond me...

Being an ex-photo lab employee, my biggest pet peeve is in color ballance. #1 is too red, #2 is slightly red, #3 is just a bit too cyan but real close, and #3 is a bit too red. #3 would be the best shot if you got closer to her face. The trees overpower the shot but make a good framing choice, just get closer. "axy" is right...get down on their level for proper perspective and bring stuff for the kid to play with. Ask the child to bring their favorite toy. Pets are a good idea, just be careful with the wardrobe...wouldn't want to try and pry a cat away from chiffon/lace. After saying all that...just relax and have fun!!
