the texture maps are the usual good quality
I'll mostly be using the leopard/puma with maybe an occasional cheetah thrown in ; ) BUT very unlikely to use lion
I 'll be using the big feet morph in minus mode a lot
I think I m going to be looking for variations in cat eye textures to add some effects like smaller or bigger pupils
reflected glow in the dark etc
I wont be using the open mouth poses all that much

I 'd go along with the majority view on it - the tiger and possibly panther morphs aren't too bad but both lions have moved on almost zilch from earlier attempts for lions the 10$ site max models are way better bar the pain of rigging and the free dedicateddigital tiger probably gives the tiger a run for its money ; )

for free cars probably your best mesh would be to get the mercedes 600 made by deespona free (on turbosquid though if it is max format youd have to get round it - ie max 6 demo convert to 3ds then poser import) if you have c4d try http://129.125.101.174/c4dportal/default.asp there are approx 130 cars / bikes in c4d format

for other free ww2 afvs try here http://www11.ocn.ne.jp/~s-blue/index.htm they are lwo format and need some rebuilding ie only half a suspension usually but very high quality models

it is definately improved if you increase your virtual memory settings for the drive poser is located on (if you split your hard disk into separate volumes)- 2 or 3 gigs as top setting works - windows suggests a size which works well as the minimum - must be lots of memory leaks when poser runs

I got P Boost but again got lots of locks - running it on ntfs win 2000 have given up and uninstalled it. In my case its probably because I tried to be clever and make a single new textures directory usable by both poser and c4d so lots of new mat files & very non standard - with a fresh install of poser and all purchases to default directories it might work but no way am I going down that road unless forced by pointy sticks

about the best free ww2 afv's plus some scene accessories going are here http://www11.ocn.ne.jp/~s-blue/html/download.htm they are lwo format - untextured and often have only 1 side wheels and tracks but with a bit of work are great oh yes there used to be de espona freebies on http://www.3dm-mc.com/modelsbank/ a panther 2, panther aa etc still some good models a luger and mp40 other good sources taschen book of 3d models vol 1 has a sherman high res others med res vol 2 has elephant spg full res others med res

does anyone know what formats the later build of daz studio is going to export in? ie c4d? lwo? 3ds? obj? whether these will work better than poser did will have a big effect on how useful it will be ie will you be able to import bones and ik setup from the poser figures
