Quote - I guess I had a voucher in my bag that I didn't know about or something like that!
That would be the monthly $5 voucher that every PC member gets. It can applied 100% to everything in the "DAZ Original" item category and 50% to "Published Items". However, all vouchers can't be used on reseller and $1.99 PC items unlike gift certificates.

The render speed and quality IMHO are better in Carrara. If you happen to have a multi-core / processor machine Carrara will take advantage of that where Poser can't. A trial version is available the Support/Downloads section of their site.

Quote - The labia and clitoris kept popping off the pelvis everytime she struck a pose.
:woot:  I'm suprised that would happen if it was parented, but that's good to know!

For lights, I'd recommend the "Radiance Pro Light System" (Good lightning, easy to start with) along with the "Unimesh Realism Kit" (Adds skin imperfections, etc) complement each other wonderfully. Since it seems to have not been mentioned yet... Arduino's Site - www.arduino.net (Gentalia add-ons) I've yet to buy anything there myself, since I rarely do nude renders because clothes are just more appealing IMHO. However, this question does come up frequently at various places and this is the answer I've seen time and time again. After you click on the "My Products" button, browse through the catalog until you see the various "Magic Perfect G" items. The majority of them seem to be "figures" that are smart propped to the character they are for thus not requiring any changes to the underlying texture(s) AFAIK. If anyone has any of these products, and would like to comment that would probably be even more help to the OP.
Thread: BUY HEXAGON 2 FOR $1.99!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As I've said in the Carrara forum... If you're still bitter/angry about having pre-ordered then process a refund, buy it for less at DAZ and be happy (aside from the on-going stampede of customers causing slow DL speeds)!
Thread: How easy is Hexagon for a newbe | Forum: Carrara
I could say it's far easier than Shade's kludge of a UI, but then why should you believe me ? If you're a PC member then go over to DAZ3D.com, buy it for the measly $2 bucks and then return it inside of 30 days if you decide it's not for you.
Thread: DAZ Ships Hexagon 2 | Forum: Carrara
Quote - Whoah. I could'a got it for thirty-two bucks if I had waited? Ah, well. Serves me right for falling for that pre-order gimmick. Never again.
All is not lost... It was said in chat and elsewhere that while DAZ was trying to try to stop the Pre-orders, the existing (previous owners) of Eovia didn't want to. This is/was most unfortunate. However, DAZ is allowing refunds of pre-orders so that they may purchase PC memberships and get Hexagon for $2. If you choose not to stay after one month, then cancel. Although, should you do this, you loose the other perks DAZ is giving to pre-order customers.
Thread: Official news about Hexagon 2 | Forum: Carrara
Quote - How dare DAZ offer me a paltry $130 worth of discounts for a $200 purchase!
Actually, it's closer to $160 IMHO because the four months of PC membership are sold at about $8 a month in addition to the $30 value of initial PC membership setup fee. :thumbupboth:

Thanks. I'll remember that for next time. I didn't try that and would not have known to try it. If it's mentioned somewhere, I definitely missed it and I apologize for that part of my rant. :)

Excellent job converting all the data over! However, I hate the feeling that I'm probably missing messages here than I wouldn't have using the old forums. If there's a way to do this that I just missed, I'd love to know. The smilies do need to be clickable! Having to add them as currently implemented is terribly user unfriendly. Where's my bold, italic, etc and the other basic features that I've come to expect from free systems like phpBB ? Regardless, I really want to like all the new features, layout, etc but it requires more effort to glean the same benefit I used to before so I can't. The sooner I can more easily separate the "new" threads from the "old" ones the happier I'll be. These dang stars are not terribly useful either. Good Luck! :thumbupboth:

Thread: Another thread about Manga Studio vs. Comic Creator | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Comic forge is aimed more at those who don't already own or can't afford applications such as Photoshop or Illustrator. It has very few features or tools that have to do with image manipulation.

Just in case you're interested and don't already know... There's a freeware called "Comic Forge" which you can read the many details, view screenshots, etc over here... http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=33322 You might not have to purchase either program if this does what you want. ;)
