Thread: Naming Your Baby: How to Choose a Selling Title | Forum: Writers
I have the hardest time with titles. Except when I write songs because the idea for my songs usually (about 70% of the time) start with a title. My current working title is "Mind Games" but that isn't going to be what sticks. Although it has stuck for over 3.5 years. I will set a few people, such as my wife, read it and see what they think.

Dee-Marie keep me posted on your work, I typically make time for Arthurian work. I am sure that the next one won't take a fraction of the time since you have already completed most of the research.

Like many writers I have several projects going on though. Few screenplays - various genre (action, romantic comedy - my wife loves these, Drama...) Even a couple of comic book series scripts. The one I have done the most work on is a horror action type of book. Not my type of book starting out but I developed it for a friend and enjoyed it. It is based on a group that fights werewolves and vampires though I put my own spin on it and sort of grounded them and made them more "Real" and less superstition. All in all it was fun and until the right artist comes along it will sit here taking space. I am not into the fantasy worlds much as to me I find the real world much more scary. I also write songs and play guitar. Actually wrote a song that we had someone play and sing at my wedding reception. The novel is a Mystery and is my first "honest" attempt at a novel. It is a very time consuming As for 3D my sketching is terrible in my opinion and since I am not making show pieces I don't mind not being a good enough 3D artist as I just need to get the basic idea's down so I can relieve the pressure on my mind, as it may be months before I get to the writing of that particular scene. High ground, Florida? Have you ever been here? :) I think the highest ground in S. Florida is probably a garbage dump. I am Only 8 miles from the beach but high enough. 2 story concrete townhouse with concrete floors and roof. So the damage was conmetic other than my A/C blowing away. BTW jstro As a side note, coouple of weeks ago I stumbled upon you galler post for Max Mann and really enjoyed reading it would love to read the rest sometime. Perhaps when I get the rewrite done I will let you have a look at chapter one.
Thread: New To The Forum...TrekkieGrrrl sent me...I have a question, and need some help | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you search free the forums there is a thread somewhere (can't remember where) with a link to all kinds of wrestling stuff. Belts, locker room, entrance props and even a table you can slam someone into and break. I can't speak for most of it but I did download the locker room and played with it for awhile...I ended up not using it but It was very good quality.

Another trick is to make reduced resolution Textures Maps for objects further in the background. 4000x4000 photo realistic texture for background people is insane. I sometimes make reduced lower res copies of textures for this purpose. Photoshop and about 15 seconds reduces render times alot.

duanemoody - "Daniel's work is the kind that if I had no scruples I'd steal." I know what you mean. I dream of talent like his.
Thread: Combustion/AfterEffects forum anyone? | Forum: Animation
I would definately be interested in an AE/Combustion Forum. One forum for both is definately ideal. Since features are so similar it would save time for those searching for answers if they only had to search the one forum.

Thanks, I heard nothing but good things about it. Supposedly they made a pilot episode here in the US based off of your 6 episodes but it never got made into a series. I have contemplated getting the DVD's also just b/c it looked good but some times I have trouble understanding the dilects.
Thread: Painting your own texture | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This may be very late but someone later on may be browsing through and find this helpful so I will post... One trick that I have used in the past is to use two different maps as in M2 and M3 since the seams are different. If you are going to make an M3 texture start on a M2 template and just do the areas where seams are for M3 meet and then convert the map to M3. Once you open your new M3 map you will see some areas around the edges are now done and you can now proceed to filling in the interior (main) portions. It seems to work for me Japes
