Dreamspinner had a good idea. Is there any way to include an email to the challangee when we're challenged? Due to time constraits (wife, kids, job, who's got time to play? :) I don't monitor here as frequently as I should (not that it's mattered yet ... :) JStawarz

According to a post by Ken Musgrave (I think I deleted it, I'd have to look through the archives), Mojoworld will be compatible with Poser animations. Maybe, hopefully... Now if I could only animate something worthwhile ... :P

Looks great! btw- were you going to make the X-Acto Knife publicly available? Or at least email how you did it? I've been trying but can't get one that looks like that (or even close to what it should look like ... :P:)

The main thing is corrected/updated volumetric materials plus, loads of new volumetric materials. Their site says they fixed a couple of things as well as adding (some) new feature type stuff. HTH,

Quick question for you. Are ALL of the objects in the group positive except for the one that is negative? For example, you want to boolean a poser figure with a sphere to simulate a hole in the chest. I would think that you just need the chest positive and the rest negative. No such luck. EVERYTHING in the group needs to be positive except for the one (or more) negatives. If you have a neutral or intersect in there, the results are going to be unpredictible (if anything actually happens like you see :) HTH.

Primarily, when you're doing a test render. Say, you want to see what something looks like rendered, but you don't want to wait 3 hours for the anti-alias phase finishes... :)

When you compress it, both Win-Rar and PKzip for Windows default to the last compression type you used. When you first installed it, it defaulted to standard compression. You can adjust it to maximum and give that a shot (if you haven't already). I would think that it would compress more than 50% for a basic text file.

Bonestructure, have you considered zipping it before sending it to the other person? I've found that .OBP files zip REAL well. Something to the point of a 250K file zipping to 22k. Not bad at all. That 1.5M file should end up being something in the neihbourhood of 200K, when it's all said and done. FYI, that was PKZip 2.50 for DOS using maximum compression. Also, did the model include a lot of booleans? I've noticed that tends to make the .obp real large real quick.

It's called Spiralizer and can be found at www.armanisoft.ch. There's also another prog there called Elefont that does 3d text. Both only export to DXF, but that's not a problem for Bryce!
