It's probably a daft question... I have Vue4Pro and have been waiting for Vue5Pro. When it comes out will I be able to use my Vue4Pro on one machine and Vue5Pro on another? Sorry to creep off topic...

I think it is fabulous, the best I have ever seen by a mile! I have waited so long for this male genital (good grief, one needs to be so careful of double entendres) and it was well worth it imho. A 'length' morph might be a great addition though ;)

Vue 4 pro was 519.00 inc VAT for me :( No sooner did I buy it when I get a message saying Vue 5 Pro is coming out.

Stick with it GoN2GraceLand as it really is worth the effort. I am fairly new to Vue4Pro and at first was a little lost. The manual doesn't seem to tell you much and when I tried to buy something like one of the bible/dummies/Using books on Amazon I discovered there was no such thing for Vue :(
However it all starts to fall into place eventually and the results can be spectacular.
With the cameras you need to straight away 'store camera' (little icon that looks like a diskette) and then you can move your current view but still go back to your old one. You can do this as many times as you need which stores lots of different views, it's pretty cool. I found that selecting the item I want to move around makes camera movement easier also.
Resizing, moving etc is all so different to Poser that it will take you a while to get used to it but as I say, it's worth the effort IMHO.

I find that when I try and render at too high a resolution I get a similar problem. I have 4 gb of ram (3 shows up)so should really have a 10 gb pagefile or so but WindowsXP only recognises a 4 gb pagefile. Hopefully XP64 will address this (I use a dual opteron) but then I guess I will need to get a 64 bit poser and vue4pro to take advantage. In the end though I suspect the problem lies with Poser as I can move problem scenes that crash on Poser to Vue 4 Pro and then import more stuff and render it at very high res in superior or ultra mode without trouble. However, if Poser is loaded in the background it crashes :)
