Beautiful... I've always loved these "rusty landmarks". This is a pic that really benefits from the B&W treatment (lots of structure). However can I ask you a favour ? I'm a keen Rhino 3D modeler, and i'd really like to model this fuel tank (thingy); could you post the original colour version (if possible with some cropped out detailed bits) ? How big is this thing anyway (just to get some idea of proportions).

Wow ! That's what i call composition ... The first is absolutely wonderful; ready for print, i would say. I also love the second one; great color and overall balance. ... I still have a lot to learn. Did you do this with your digital cam ?

Do you remember the cover designs for "The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" by Douglas Adams ? Reminds me of those Vogon ships ready to demolish earth. Great atmosphere here.

Yes, Rork, didn't think of unleashing a bunch of artistic filters to get that "handpainted" look. It certainly works. Maybe cutting away at the edges of the photograph (you know, those "ornamental" cuts they used to make, or whatever you call them). This is starting to get that "Dr. Livingstone, I presume ?" -feel.

absolutely stunning !!! Now that you come to mention it, Slynky, it does have a kind of Teletubby look. Just love those pics...

Would be nice to "age" this pic. Converting it to a duotone sepia and then adding lots of dust and scratches to give it a kind of colonial feel.

Ah, you can't go wrong with Oxford... I used to climb the tower of St-Mary's quite often. Astonishing views. Nice classic pic of the camera (#1); I really love the gargoyles ... You captured the whole atmosphere there.

Being an Oxonian myself (CCC), I'll have to counter this as soon as possible. Nice pics though, I particularly like #7 (great atmosphere). Are you a Cambridge student/graduate ?

Hmmmm... where shall i start ? Daytime job : producer DVD-video and CD-ROM presentations (mostly corporate communication stuff). I get to play with high end AV equipment and 3D software (and getting paid to do so). But, i'm also a lawyer dashing from one client to another negotiating and drafting contracts. I think i found some kind of balance between my creative urges and "the power of the dark side" (the legal profession). May the force be with you all.
