actually i disagree. i did NOT post a link, just an URL. that means, only clicking on that does not suffice, you need to get ACTIVE yourself by copy-and-pasting... (although "clicking" a link is also "activity" - just much less) anyway, we'll see what happens. (confidently waiting for reactions)

MS Access is some kind of a database. if you talk to other people, it is just a pain .... (you know where). if you don't use access, you may change your system setting concerning MAT files.

sounds sensible. anyway, fine tuning will still be necessary, i suppose. ;-) btw, i tried some standard (delivered by DAZ with the figure) poses on poserworld items for S3 - and pody parts popped trough. so fine tuning is also an issue for the "professionals"... no examples pics for now, i'm not at my poser workplace to create them.

i use emacs for this kind of work. that one is really a bit more than just an editor... so possibly not what you are looking for. (starting another editor war????)

Thread: fitting V3 cloth to S3P - some ideas | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
that looks pretty close to what i actually see when trying to conform a piece of cloth directly derived from S3's object. JP's were directly taken from S3 character (*.CR2) unfortunately, neither poser nor morph manager seem to work correctly on editing the JPs. i found at least what actually happens, don't know yet what might be the reason: somehow JP values get lost (origin, center of deformation zone, etc.) removing the cloth figure even crashes my windows! (Win98) i find myself far away from a position where i'd like to be, even not being able to actually see what i am supposed to work on. dissatisfying is a weak word for this. any help would be welcome. (yeah i expected some mess but not that amount)

i think it's possible. both M3 and V3 are unimesh, remember? as for group names: not really a problem, just a lot of work. even with regrouping some facets - just time to invest. the real problem (as far as i see it now) is to adapt the conforming (means, set the JPs correctly). also see the thread i started on the V3 --> S3P conversion. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
