Hey! That links dead. Sound like some useful tuts. Anyone know where they are now. The link gives a 404 error. Tried a search for poser in the groups main. I stopped looking around 60 out of 270 this person is poser links.

Thanks for the comments so far!!! You should have seen her knees and right elbow before I post-worked it. Ok, I see the crease in her knee that I missed, and the edges could be rounder. I'll try to add a glow from her cigarette. I almost put a light there for rendering but figured the glow from the sabre would overcast it. I'm using PhotoImpact 3.? for post so I'm not sure how I can add a good glow. The other crease in the Lil'Lani dress (Thanks Nerd, I was looking in the G's for its zip) needs to go, and the bumps on the hip. That dress had a weird mesh thing from the left breast down to the hip (see the giant shadow on her belt) I got most of it out but thought the last one looked like a crease. It doesn't How can I fix her right elbow? To get her hand close enough to her face, I wound up dislocating her elbow. Cleaned up the mesh in post but it still looks detached. Like its sitting to high.

That e-bot/subj. line trick was very weird. Now I'm very worried, some people can actually control what they say. What is going to become of this forum? Not to detract from the subject of this thread but, does anyone know where I can get a pose for Posette's right hand near her mouth? Like she's lighting a cigarette. I keep dislocating joints when I try to move her hand that close to her face. Still think I can conn a ship. How hard can it be? You just turn that wheelie thingie. ;-)

Lyrra - I've used Dodgers lightsabers in Bryce. Just set the material for the blade like you would for hair. Turn off shadows and use the image texture in the ambient channel. Sometimes I get wierd problems with parts of the blade disappearing but not often.

Got it 'conn' makes perfect sense now. I'm blaming popular culture for leaving me thinking that coronations are catholic and missing conn. Lights are the main reason I import my poser stuff to bryce for rendering. Can't handle the learning curve right now, and I've been using bryce longer. I've learned more about using bryce since I got poser though. That candle is just plain cool. I can't wait for your 'light effects?' pak to be available. I saw an ad for it when I got the ulimate lightsaber collection but now I can't find it.(the ad) Well, I have to go pose a Fully-Clothed Posette, model a hallway in the Jedi Temple, and put up the Christmas tree. Wait, I dl'd a tree not to long ago. Hey, honey...

I think I downloaded grouper recently. Haven't tried it yet. Usually don't get an image to the point I move it to Bryce, so when I do renaming a handfull of meshes doesn't bother me. I have I mentioned I run poser on a 300 Mhz machine-everything takes me a long time so I'm on a slow motion learning curve. Does grouper do anything else. If it's really worth it I'll unzip it. Like I said my scenes are pretty simple so theres only ever a hand full of meshes at a time.

Thanks all. I'm moving the pic to The Jedi Temple on Corusant for context reasons. (The hallway that Obi-wan, Mace and Yoda are talking in-Ep2) I'll still be needing the Death Star interiors cause I can't think of a good reason to use Dodgers lightsabers without Jedi. So there are these war wizards, see. And they have these swords made out of magical energy... Yea, like the jedi :(

It occured to me at work today, aren't corinations a cathothic thing? Couldn't we have a non-denomiational crowning ceremony. Do I bring cheese dip, veggie dip, chip dip? I think we blew a fuse playing with the lights. No idea what 'conn' means but I could probably build/pilot a ship. Bottom arrow by the trackball control- turn off gamma correction!!! Vast improvement over the default setting. I read all the tut's I could find on this before seeing the gamma thing somewhere. Still have to tweak all the textures by hand one at a time, I think there's a program somewhere that will convert the textures but it wasn't free so I don't remember where I saw it. LOL Kinda have a list of the settings I'm happy with, just used the #'s suggested in the tut's as a starting point and fiddled until I was happy. Couldn't find a tut that broke it down to : ambient in poser = [magic formula] = what not in Bryce
